Fantastic as usual 👌thanks for sharing
Thanks again 🙏
Another fantastic video Lenny! Lovely to hear a Greek March, something different!
The marches played were,
1) 0:01-Glorious Victory
2) 2:53-Pindos March
3) 5:15-Wellington
(Return to Barracks)
4) 7:55-Bab El Mandeb
5) 9:51-Quick Silver
6) 12:31-Silver Bugles
7) 14:07-Highland Laddie (Hielan Laddie)
@delvinrodriguez3341 correct me please, but is Pindos one of the only, if not the first, Greek marches heard on Guard Mounting ? Apart, of course, from Bravura, which is so popular in Greece that it's believed to actually be a Greek march.
@@meadowlands1937 Hello Sir, I do hope you're keeping well! As far as I know this has been the only Greek march played during a Guard mount. Although the Rifles have played Zorba the Greek before, but that's not been during Guard mounts. When I first started learning about the Bands I thought Bravura was British. Was surprised it was an American march.
@@delvinrodriguez3341 The U.S. along with Germany have written some of the best British marches.
@@meadowlands1937 Haha, yes they certainly have!
@@delvinrodriguez3341 Just to close this subject with a bonus observation: Last night I happened upon a YT video of a USMC graduation ceremony for new recruits. The USMC band played what appears to be a popular Polish march. (Unless you tell me it's actually the trio of a rare RB Hall march).
Another excellent video! Thanks Lenny.
You are most welcome 🤗

Great as usual thanks Lenny. Hope by now you've fully recovered from last year's accident.
I am very well thank you 🤗
Greeting Lenny Windsor thanks for this nice changing the GUARDS very awesome 🎉❤🎉❤🎉
You are most welcome dear 🤗
Thank you..the Rifles Band did a fantastic job. Welch Foot Guards looked in good form. Gurkhas always quick march.
It’s my pleasure 🤗
Class filming as usual
Thank you again 🙏
If you put the playback speed to 1.25x you get the light infantry effect
Thank you 🙏
Great to see you back Lenny, wonderful video as always!
Thank you kindly 🤗🤗
Great to see the actual guard featured
Magnificent.
Thank you very much 🤗
Great job, Lenny and Ig 😊
Thank you dear 🤗
The marches seem much slower than usual. Especially for the band and bugles of the rifles!
I think that the bearskins would tumble at 140 ppm
They have to slow the beat back to 116bpm because the household division are marching behind them
@@Ceremonial1000 I understand that the guards don’t march at light pace but in this video they are marching at about 95 ppm and not the usual 116?
140 bpm! Always impressive, unless they are looking for you!😮
Blimey, the Guards Officer & escorts got a bit far ahead of the rest of the new Guard!
If they get any shorter it will be munchkin battalion 😂
Don't cheek them. They've proved themselves to be among the world's toughest soldiers.
@@wayinfront1 not saying that they are not tough but when I served in the Welsh guards you had to be a certain height
@@user-ez5xb3vx1h Yes, but the Gurkhas are not the Guards and don't have that minimum height requirement. As an ex-Guards squaddie, who probably served alongside the Gurkhas (they do many exercises and ops together), I'd have thought you would be well aware of this.
Not on about the Gurkhas the guardsmen or women are short
