As a matter of interest are the buglers full time members of the band or part time - often wondered what they do all day - perhaps play other instruments when not bugling - band sounds good as usual
They are the most feared regiment in the World. Fittest in the Army? Fittest in world military service. This is double time to most militia, its a jog for them. Our Dad proudly served with them and was given honourary Gurkha status when he left the deployment. He sat and ate with them, what they were eating, not the canteen food. They respected that and his attitude that they were at the lowest level equal to British Soldiers and not cannon fodder (how some people 60+ years ago regarded them). At the end of their tenure together, they created and gifted Our Dad a personal Kukri set, respect returned.
@@redsidebiker I am so happy to hear about your father but on another note you could have left out the "cannon fodder" comment. The Gurkhas were awarded twelve Victoria Crosses in WW2 alone: two in 1943, eight in 1944 and two in 1945 and that eighty years ago. Everyone in the Commonwealth knew and knows about the Gurkhas and deeply respects them all. Anyone using those descriptions to describe members of the Brigade of Gurkhas is racist and misinformed or jealous and need never be quoted.
@@iabcdhdhd well as you may have guessed i did not find that funny and for good reason i was a bugler in one of the regiments that went to make the rifles

They are infantrymen not part of the band.

They look like the fittest soldiers in the British Army.
No weight problems in this group : )
