I just bought this rifle used for $800. Came with scope and bipod, its my 54th birthday Saturday May 4th so this will be a birthday present for myself. Its also my first .338LM rifle I've ever owned so looking forward to learning more about it as time will go on.
Good video, something for me to learn from, but damm man, can i bring mine to that beautiful area to shoot??
    Be safe...

I'm using Lapua brass, H1000, Fed 215M's, and Sierra 300 gr Matchkings out to 1646 meters with no problem. ES and SD looking good, generally run about .45 MOA.

Right, the audio was "single action" but it is a single shot. My trigger is tuned to about 12oz. Factory literature says it can go to about 6oz, but mine is set as light as I can confidently run the rifle. Family that have shot it go slack jawed at both trigger pull and lack of recoil. The muzzle brake Savage puts on these rifles is very effective!!

I Have the 265 nosler long range doing 2910 fps and the 250 Berger doing 2950 fps. both loads are shooing well as soon as the weather clears I will test the more at distance. and many tweek things shot the 250 Berger to 913meters and the 265 nosler to 1175 meters so far .I have a little bit of retumbo to test and getting some H100O in a few weeks.
