Are there seriously people arguing about which version is better? I play in bedrock and I haven't seen a single person who thinks Java isn't better in almost every way.

​@@ostrogothiccyoutube8118 I used to play Minecraft on console and I still prefer Java over Bedrock. Bedrock is still pretty good but not as good as Java. I also like the Legacy Console Versions of the game because they were very polished and I have a lot of nostalgia for them, but unfortunately, those versions have all been discontinued. But these days I primarily play Minecraft on PC.

The joke about 1.19 was somewhat exaggerated to enhance this video. After all, it is a "Slander" video. But I still think that 1.19 could've been better. I think the update was decent, but it wasn't quite as good as other updates such as 1.14 (Village & Pillage), 1.16 (Nether Update), and 1.17/1.18 (Caves & Cliffs).

actually, a mojang dev said that it was a decision of mojang and not microsoft and all the devs approved. i'm guessing it was because of the java+bedrock sold together thing, bedrock has more kids playing so thats why it has all these filtering features. so when they got access to java they decided to add filtering over there because kids shouldn't be searching up meanings of swear words because they dont know any better.
