That’s interesting we just had a chemical plant explosion in our town that manufactures PP and the Chemical company is saying to just use water to clean up the fallout.
generally PP is extremely potent medication to speed up the healing process in a human body - but, BUT - it must be diluted to no crystals left - literally it must be crystal-less water - once crystals are gone - use a real spoon and not some weird looking ear cleaner - but large spoon that stirs water to a rolling funnel-like tornado inside water itself - then wait for a good 5 minutes as water gets darker eventually - when ready simply use it to rinse the open wounds - never use your fingers to rub the PP liquid on top of the wound - just rinse to let it spill on the ground or a sink - so the open wound becomes wet with PP-based water - never reuse the same liquid - dispose the leftovers - the trick is that PP makes water super clean - almost like saline but with healing as well as pain killing properties - always use freshly made PP-based water - not a day or longer from storage - always try to put a white sheet of paper under the glass of water to let you easily measure and stir to the color that it becomes super potent - it is purple on the darker side but not very dark that you cannot see the bottom of the glass - HTH!
Thanks for all the medical info, I was unaware of how dangerous this chemical is!!! I was really only looking to use it for the fire starting aspect of it in an emergency ONLY situation. Good to know!!!
You can just buy it at pharmacies here in Australia. It is good for hardening up your feet though your skin will go black. We used to do our feet with it at the start of football season or before going hiking. You have to leave it on your feet a long time to do damage.
I agree with what you are warning against. However if you are sterilizing water with 15 micro grams to 1 litre that means you only have 30 micrograms for 2 litres which actually means you are talking 6 litres before getting to the 100 micrograms which is the start of health problems. Beside the math, you are correct. I think it’s supposed to be used in an emergency only not for a camping trip water drinking. Thanks very much for doing the research
I purchased this 'Potassium Permanganate' online from Chemist Warehouse thinking it was a Potassium supplement. Thank God I read the fine print and then extensively looked into it. Your research has made it quite clear that this Potassium Permanganate is virtually unsafe for just about anything!… And this product should not be sold by any health food store for apparent reasons. Now, how can I dispose of this Potassium Permanganate safely !!!???
in my country it is illegal to put it down the drain for obvious reasons. Either give it to a toxic waste facility or put it in a big glass with water, put a base and sugar in there and wait until the water clears completely up and the brown suspension settles at the bottom. If the water is still pink or green, put more base and sugar in it until it becomes clear. In this form it is no longer a big problem to put it down the drain.
Thanks for the research. I still keep it. But for EMERGENCY purposes. There are safer alternatives. But if its down to the wire then this can be useful.
@@ZimCoSurvival How come when you drink it it doesn't make chlorine in your stomach? I can never understand how it can be safe to drink for that reason.
Hey I just wanted to tell you you can make a fire with it but you will need to have an incendiary with it so it will burn off all that is releast I am a demolitions expert and was in the military for over eight years and Baghdad for 2 and have used this on several occasions but I advise that when you do so you need to have the proper training and know exactly what you're doing before you're doing so cuz it will explode and it will detonate with glycerin and it can be fatal to the person or any person near then. But I am not contradicting you are correct about everything you said it's just the fire portion I use and I refused it and my demolitions when I made explosives when I was in Iraq to take care of the bombs that we were detonated so it is a chemical that people do not need to mess with if you do not know what you're doing
I use hydrogen peroxide with distilled water is it possible to use potassium Permanganate with distilled water the reason so I can use it as a cleaning agent
i have a small question? after adding potas in water to mild coloring and leaving it for 2 days or so.. there is brown flakes and clear water. How pure is that water?
The brown flakes are Manganese Oxide. The KMnO4 was reduced, so it no longer works. Depending on what got in the water after that, the water is no longer sterile.

I am sure you have studied and read MSDS and various medical articles, Try again next time and try to do it better.
I had no idea how toxic it is. I thought it was something people carried in their survival kits to treat water and as a fire starter (when mixed with glycerin). I think I saw Dual Survival where they started a fire by mixing Potassium Permanganate and sugar (or some substance with glycerin). I am so glad I saw this video. I will avoid it like the plague. I can start a fire with sticks if necessary.
Bro you can't even spell "truth" properly so why should we listen to you? I'll watch your full video but I have my doubts. Edit: your info is good, I take it back. I'll still always keep it with me but the drinking thing will probably not happen (unless an entire emergency).

Have you tried mixing it with hydrochloric or muriatic acid?
Will not do that as I prefer to survive and not die from chlorine gass...

I believe potassium permanganate is good with small dogs having diarrhoea. Is this true?
