Lovely video. I recently had an old broken Raymarine C120 chartplotter fixed by The Service Centre in Poole. They're happy to fix obsolete gear that Raymarine won't touch.
Love your videos and commentary Mike. Moelfre one of our favourite villages and many happy meals and pints in the Kinmel Arms. Have you done a vid sailing/motoring into the Conwy marina? Blue Skies.
Hi Howard I don’t believe I have. I have plenty of entering Conwy I’m sure but not specific to the Conwy marina. For no other reason than I never go in there. Thanks for your support Mike 👍
Love Swallow. Looks good sails well and is good. I would certainly get one if they did a bilge keel. We’re off to Molfre Saturday. I got shut of my Raymarine. Similar problems but didn’t find their support good. Switched to Orca now. So far so good. Great to see your videos again.
Hiya, Swallow has legs! She doesn’t need keels 🤣 My bro said he’s off to moelfre Saturday, keep an eye out for him he will be on his own I think. May follow you down the Orca road, have to see how I get on. See you out there mike 👍
Nice looking boat your brother got, she looks like a long keel old school type, transom hung rudder as well which is my preferred rudder set up, nice and simple, bugger all can go wrong with it. She looks like the type built to go anywhere, plus a lovely shape as well.
your boat was flying into the wind fastest yet whoosh , i thought your bruv was soo in love with the vega surprised he has a changed looks like a good boat he got more roomy below deck for sure ,i do fancy a fin keal moody 27 myself but i can dream only
The 27’s come up for the right price if you keep your eyes 👀 open and count the pennies. Keep the faith. My bro changed only for extra cabin space and wanted to be able to stand up while putting he trousers on 🤣
Sailing in Cork in the lovely weather nice 👌 Heading towards St David’s head at the moment but very little fickle wind. Don’t know if I’ll ever arrive anywhere 😂
Hi Joe, I presume we are talking about the car that runs up and down the deck track. Yes all the time or at least 90% of it. I normally do the halyard tension as well but it was loose for some reason and cos I was going well enough I just left it but that would explain the extra heel I had. Mike
My absolute favorite sailing channel. Thank you for putting in the effort, Mike 👍💪
Thanks for that, means a lot cheers 🍻

Hi John, You got their contact details then? Cheers 🍻 mike
Another great video! I almost bought a Halmatic 30, as I love a long keeled boat, but didn't and lived to regret it!
Swallow is a delight.
It’s always the things we didn’t do! 🤪
Thanks for the films - really enjoy following your sailing adventures 👍
You’re welcome 👍
Cool 😎

You made that sail look like a lot of fun. I wish I wasn't so far inland.
Find a lake and get a dinghy and go out on a wild day, that’ll blow the cobwebs away 😁

Ye don’t you just know it, a big folk boat to munch the waves 🌊

Nothing better than racing you brother!
Hi mark, you’re right there but he will batter me when he’s sorted himself out. So I must take these little wins while I can 🤣
❤
Great to see you back on the water. We need more videos. Are you comming back to Ireland this year?
Hi Derek, not made too many plans as yet. What’s your port? Mike

Hi, Do you adjust the wheel the the Genoa sheet goes through when setting your sail? A very nice sailing time & viewing. Thanks for posting.
