@@tomf3150 Not in my opinion. Although the door bit is a memorable part of the episode because we finally get to see Teal'c self-indulge, it is one of the cheaper jokes about the time loop. The comedy of the episode is more efficiently compressed in this edit by using the clip of them learning to juggle *while* learning ancient.
Star Trek has several. Some are less fun than others. Babylon 5 has some really cool stuff involving time, but it lasts over the arc of the whole show pretty much.
If only this were 5 minutes, you could have captured the B plot, where Tealk keeps getting hit in the face by a door, and eventually hits the guy in the face. That was one of the best character development moments to see him finally crack the stoic exterior.
As someone who lost my wife 4 years ago, I certainly can relate to that desire to want to go back & see her again. But Jack is right, I could never live through that moment again.
Well edited, you really got the spirit of the episode.
Thanks, glad you like it !
No, Teal'c closing the door on the guy was edited out. This is a failure.

I’m just imagining an ancient civilization on Alaris worshipping the Stargate and getting pelted by golf balls.
Oh lol! That is so funny!
Oh my god. I hadn't thought of that until I read this. That is hilarious.
" We Worship O'NEAL's Golf ⛳ Balls ," Praise God Jack O'NEAL'S Golf Balls ," We ancient One know how to play Golf now ⛳‼️🇺🇸😂😂😂😂😂
0:32 Corona... something
i always found this episode the most powerful, when he mentions his son, you could tell for jack the emotions were still raw
loved when they took loops off and golfed through the gate lol
It is like having a virtual-portal-like, galaxy sized golf course, essentially Wii golf mixed with Portal, but the golf course is universal.
IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BACK SWING?
I really remember this particular episode. The expression on O'Neill's face at the end was PRICELESS!!!! 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
I completely agree with Dodnet3. I have watched this episode in its entirety, and this is a crisp and brilliant edit.
Thanks !
0:36 Oh no he lived through 2020 already
The Goa'uld did try to release a biological weapon on Earth using the son of Teal'c.
This is one of my favorite episodes.
Mine too. The fifth race was also so good episode.
chiefnut48 CORRECT
It was the funniest and heart breaking episode ever
No matter how often i time loop, i could never learn to toss balls like Jack and Teal'c is doing 😭
Anybody else thinks it's weird neither Jack nor T can speak at least a little Ancient after this episode?
They actually show limited knowledge of Ancient later, such as when Teal'c is at Dakara, and he recognises that language to be a different dialect.
'I think you're better off in here!'
greatest episode of sg-1 EVER
Well done with your edit of the episode. This is hands down my favorite episode series.
Groundhog Day, Edge of Tomorrow, Mystery Spot and Window of Opportunity. Each one such a riot! Any others?
Star Trek has several. Some are less fun than others. Babylon 5 has some really cool stuff involving time, but it lasts over the arc of the whole show pretty much.
@@TruthWiz Star Trek is never a riot during their loops though.
@@magatrone100 Nope. You're absolutely right. Stargate wins that trophy forever and ever. It's one of the best hours in all of television history.
Rick and morty and futurama
That worked pretty good as a summary
This has got to be on of my favorite episodes.
loved this episode
