Love that you watched this Fern, there's hours and hours of it. People ask us to sum up Aurora in one word. Forget about it. As magical and very special as her music is, her personality is so bright, and fearless, that many of us think she is destined for something bigger than her music.

When i found Aurora I becam obsesse with all her creativity, knowledge and wisdom, but also with her funny side, I watch all the entreview that i could find and their are also few realy intersting podcast or audio entreview that she gave. I'm in love with her, the human that she is, not only for her talent but her entire persone, soul, mind, intelligence, evrything. She is so unique and deep, I truely thing that she is so highly intelligent that she need to be be absolutly dum sometime. My friend talked to her and took a picture, but I was somewhere else at that time, and then the moment was lost. But some day I’ll be bold and talk to her:) I’m just not brave enough to walk over on the street.

There is an audio only interview with "Outrage and Optimism" That hits on a completely different note. A glimpse into Auroras more serious and mature side. Definitely worth the listen.

In many ways Aurora is the human being we all would like to be; smart, sweet, wise, funny, etheral, childlike, considerate, in such a way that she almost seems alien. A bit like the fifth element in the old Bruce Willis movie.

That being said, this is really badly cut together it's material for which of course you can't. In fact, the full interviews would not only be funny almost throughout but also interesting.
The interview at the Oscars, for example, is a bit longer and consistently funny. But shows once again that the interviewers are superficial. They don't even know what simple pleasures are anymore. That day, Aurora had gold-plated sneakers on. How can you wear something like that here with us and only this rags she wears there.
I could shoot people like that on the moon. The lady quickly warmed up with Aurora after the first superficiality. But the man didn't go at all.
I actually have had the same thought, that she seems like both an old soul and a new soul at the same time. Maybe this means that we only get her for one incarnation.

While she never directly confirmed it and is not a fan of lables, in one of her interviews she mentioned being autistic and as an autistic person myself I can see it quiet clearly in her behaviour. Like a lot of what makes her so different and unique in these interviews is based in just autistic behaviour. The complete honesty in situations where other might not feel like that is socially acceptable, the sensory seeking, the special interests, the focus on details, the spacing out the seemingly unconnected jumps in topics. And I am really happy that so many people enjoy her antiques and embrace their own weirdness instead of disliking her for being different.

Aurora is just a multi faceted treasure. The two guys from Triple J in Australia were equal parts beguiled and bamboozled by Aurora. The vapid American Hollywood robot interviewers with no sense of humour at the Oscars did not understand her at all. The best interview is the one in the garden in San Francisco where she puts the clover in her hair (watch that whole interview, he asks great questions and is totally enamoured by Aurora). Im not sure if its you i mentioned this to before but Potion for love has already been released , its on the B side of the No Cure for me vinyl. I would have thought it unlikely she would release it separately unless you mean she might release a video of it on-line.
When I heard it online , it was really bad quality . Probably not like that now , so I do definitely want to listen to it ! Not sure if I just clicked a bad version haha !

But if you watch the whole thing.....she's actually flirting with the girl interviewing her quite a bit lol.
You can really sense Aurora leaning in and showing keen interest, the interviewer not quite picking up on it or being nervous, and then Aurora kinda pulls back and "acts" disinterested. The entire interview is quite the watch. Aurora was clearly pretty into the girl interviewing her.
