She’s fascinating. Very physically emotional, sensitive, whimsical, softly spoken and idealistic yet wise, eloquent, reasonable, mature and with a very dry, subversive and mischievous sense of humour. If only there were more like her. Oh, and she sings like an angel.
She is truly a light across the universe, speaking truth!! People REALLY need to stop asking her about Billie Eilish though. she's clearly not interested lol. Love this interview, LOVE Aurora, and I'm proud to be part of the Warriors & Weirdos tribe!
The amount of insight Aurora has on the world, the amount of emotional intelligence... I just love her so much, she’s an inspiration and an idol, I hope to meet her one day. She is the most unique person I “know”
I really want to hear Tom from Chemical Brothers side of the story about Aurora walking off into the forest at night. I bet they were freaking out. Wonderful interview.
“The prize is death penalty” Made me laugh way too hard. I’m not really invested in her music (yet), but I love watching her interviews. She’s such an interesting soul to me, really inspiring.
I like the term macho culture more than toxic masculinity. I know it’s the same thing but it just seems more friendly and helpful rather than spiteful and dogmatic. Maybe that’s just her though.
Well... "toxic masculinity" is more derogatory because there's "toxic" in there but then again "masculinity" isn't really derogatory in any way so, I guess I failed to make any point at all.
SebSk I think people think of them selves as masculine so they feel like you’re calling them toxic people which is too extreme of a word. They won’t look at themselves and try to better their behaviour if they feel like they’ve been insulted.
I need to know what this hairstyle is called bc I tried to look it up and I was like uhhh “Short bob with bangs and longer locks” ?????? And found nothing
"it's so important to know you're allowed..." to cry, to have mental conflict, to be a man with these issues.. I'm not a man but she is addressing such difficult issues with such poise and kindness, I love her so much and The River is one of my favorites of hers, it really helped me through depression and letting emotions go through crying
You have no idea how much easier it is to just keep everything locked up inside in our society. It's not healthy though... I force myself to cry at least once per year.
As man being told to bottle up your emotion and to not cry is a very toxic thing to do. What's the point of having emotions in a guy if we don't use it. "Real men aren't afraid to cry"
Okay, I'm seeing a lot of people here talking about "Billie vs. Aurora". This needs to stop. Stop pitting them against each other. There shouldn't be a "vs.". One isn't better than the other, it's all just personal preference. I mean, look at how Aurora talks about her. There is no competition in her words. Only love for a nice family, and a fellow artist. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
The fact that Billie mentioned she's inspired by Aurora is enough to prove there's no competition, Billie her self said, she saw Aurora and wants to be like her, it's no competition it's inspiration
I have discovered Aurora yesterday and watched a few interviews. I think she is absolutely amazing, but I have to say the reactions of people to her quirkiness and natural way of being just show me how out of touch people are in this day and age. Like everyone is soooo impressed by her being true to herself. Why don't we all ? If people love her so much for being that way, why aren't we more like that too? Just makes me think like everyone is in serious need to go on a field trip to the forest and eat some magic mushrooms, maybe then we'll stop looking at Aurora as some sort of magic elf. We all should be more in touch with our nature and the childlike side of us, and I think that maybe could solve many of our current society issues.
RT sis. There is some sort of “god on a pedestal” culture surrounding aurora in comment sections. She’s a human that sits on a table “weird” and people praise her to the high heavens for it as though we can’t all just sit on a table “weird”, as though she is a deity who invented strange table sitting methods.
Think about what certain cultures of music and social media can attract, or mostly attract. If people knew this, and it could work it would have, but it hasn't and it will always be like this for as long as people envy, suffer and look for healing in instant gratification that is short lasting. People don't like the truth, but the "idea" of truth, a half assed cook up of shit. Their brain gets tricked in to achieving a sense of wellbeing and accomplishment, a dopamine high, an area of the brain that hasn't matured yet. Plus, it's a little more complicated than that, that for some can take a lot of time. I think nature is a good starting point, mushrooms just don't magically heal things over night (I don't care, majority doesn't mean truth), it's the brain after all and it can and does take work. If the brain has no understanding of self, awareness, mental mechanisms, anything with mental health, the mind, and any concept of anything to apply to all this, it's just blowing smoke up someone's ass. It makes me really think whether people learnt anything because it always still remains the usual opinions, or any medical drug, because nothing more comes with suggestions other than how good a drug is at fixing problems or its implied, when it isn't how it actually works with mental health in mind and individuals, with drugs used medicinally. Plus, people get all caught up in feeling good, they don't put in the hard yards, it shows with how polarized some people become to it (not you, just general observation of mushrooms in general). I even think she's magic, because she is, like everyone can be magic in the right conditions and environment, given they're happy, comfortable and secure. It's her energy people like, she has good energy, especially in some of her performances.
She reminds me of someone who is tripping on psychedelics. She seems to really feel everything she says. So much so that she has to move with the words.
Stimming! Look it up :) all humans stim, but neurodivergent people stim in ways that make others think they're weird. Biting stuff, flapping our hands, rocking... It's a self regulating thing. I also love thstbshe doesn't hide her stimming :)
This may sound a little odd, but I find myself really relating to her. I've always been very insecure of the way I express myself, thinking that I sound stupid or inarticulate, but the way she speaks, her soft-spoken tone, looking up to gather her thoughts, cutting herself off, leaning in with her body, everything is exactly like how I express myself. As though I'm looking in a mirror. But because it's not actually me, I can look at her more objectively. And what I see isn't weird, like I thought it should be, but it's actually beautiful. So in a way, seeing her helps me feel better about the way I am, and not feel like it's a flaw that needs to be fixed, but something wonderful and unique to me. Sorry if that's cheesy and stupid, but I just felt like putting it out there.
Sameee. It's like the society is bringing us down to make ourselves conform & get rid of our own way of self expression & these videos of aurora are elevating us to what we deep down love to be & to how we love expressing ourselves !
"Men are victim of the macho culture." -AURORA This doesnt get said enough. Like she said the suicide rates are mostly committed by men and that's just not okay.

Listening to Aurora talk is like some really good ASMR. Even when she's just being interviewed she soothes my soul 👀❤ Love her sense of idealism though, seems very pure. And absolutely love her latest release. I think it's my favorite of hers though I love all 3 albums honestly.
She is impressively well rounded and holistic in her thinking. (I like her stretching ticks too; I did that myself.) It's wonderful that she's in the world.
We had the topic suicide and the quotes in school. I'm from Germany. We also spoke about the fact that more man kill themselves then women. Our teacher asked us why. Someone said and it might even have been my teacher, that it's because man are more brave and not that afraid from it. It stucked in my head because I've always thinked that it's wrong. What aurora said makes sense. We didn't spoke about that...
I think she's an infj, she is too much of an advocate not to be I think. Then again she could be in inxj like me, I see strong qualities of both those personalities. I can honestly say that I have never heard anyone that I relate to so much as Aurora (I don't get Starstruck either) although we come from very different backgrounds, and I've got quite an aggressive streak. We are definitely different creatures , but kindred , I'm an old Soldier/ US Army veteran. saying that so you know there's not another Aurora out there and there never could be. One thing we definitely do share though is an Unstoppable Drive to bring people together. It's nice to know that there are others out there with that same strong Drive. She is so inspiring and healing it's beyond words. She has motivated me to step up to the plate and fulfill a vision I had years ago, I think she it's going to cause a lot of people Kindred to her spirit to Step Up. ✌
@@ユミル-v9z I have to admit that you actually might be right. Then again she might be a mixed personality like myself, except with the isfp in there rather than being a combination of intj and infj. You know the more I think about it the more I think you're probably right.
I'm an INFJ and getting vibes that she's definitely close to it. Every word she says completely resonates with me. I'm someone like her who just wants to bring people together and help people
I had to pause this video every few minutes to just take in the previous sentence, she is so eloquent and soft spoken but also speaks with such *gravity*
She is a highly intelligent person I heard she was going to be either a psychiatrist or a scientist as a young child but now she's a most beautiful music artist that has ever existed on the planet She's intuned with everything the Earth the animals people She has a higher power And when I say that her spiritual Vibrations are at the highest I absolutely love her so much and she goes back to her roots her Celtic Viking roots in her singing just beautiful That's why she has all these beautiful sounds and melodies Because she goes back to the old music of Norway💜💜💜💜💜
The interviewer did a great job and had insightful questions that kept the flow going. Aurora has been helping deal with my depression quite a bit lately.
She reminds of a warm embrace during a cold day, and you’re sad, angry, and afraid, and you’re just dying for that kind of warmth to remedy your raging thoughts and emotions :(
I can't stop watching these interviews. Lol, "would you do something with her( Billie eilish)" , " well she should do her own thing" what a perfect response, someone like you should stay with only the purest of thoughts, you've changed my life
You are my hero. You aren't afraid to be yourself. Also we share the same thoughts which is weird. On another subject it's awesome how you mentioned "Superman" A Different Kind of Human =) just look at my picture on the left.
Yes, she is to kind and good for this world. And I don't mean that in a bad way. There are a lot of crazy people in the world. Look what happened to bjork 20 years ago. 😔 She's at the moment my favorite artist. She works healing for the soul.
I think instead we should help protect others that are waking up and trying to change the world but are afraid and still coming into their own. Aurora has a very good idea of who she is and the connection she has with herself and nature is very clear, and not something most have.
Aurora reminds me of who I used to be before I let the world change me in order to fit in and it makes me really happy to see someone like her. Reminds me it's okay to be myself even if I'm not ready yet.
I just listened to the whole interview, and I now realize that I don't know what she said, I didn't listen to what she said, but I listened just to her voice all the time♡
It's good to have you in our lives Aurora, I do understand you, and, I think we need to start something, living a mark in this world before our death, I just want to see the world if my children and my grandchildren and my generation. Let's get this party started.🐺🎯🎯🧿💫
She is so softly spoke but when she sings she fills the whole room and its so captivating... I find her so wonderful and interesting... I'm honestly so happy I found her through her Runaway song
I just love her whimsical mannerisms and how she dances when she speaks.....I just zoned out to write my comment and heard her mention death penalty or sponge....I have a phobia of sponges so I think I'll steer clear of that competition 😱 Thank you for existing Aurora, you are a sparkle in the darkness 💚✨
this might sound weird but... i never felt so urged that i should protect an individual... by that i mean if someone were to try and hurt her, for what ever reason, i will gladly put myself in the way of that harm, simply because i believe this individual deserves to live on, and will do more good to this world then me.
True. I think it's easy to get obsessed by her personality. There are a lot of crazy people in this world... She really interact with her fans. Normally I listen a lot to bjork and radiohead. But this is new and on the same level. Music as art 🎶👌

i agree about billie elish..lol she's clearly not interested about any questions related to any artist that praised her music
I think she likes billie, but just as much as any other person she just met once, because she's grounded like that.
Oh really? I thought she was very open to answering the question and did so very well, with absolutely no shade at all.

The amount of insight Aurora has on the world, the amount of emotional intelligence... I just love her so much, she’s an inspiration and an idol, I hope to meet her one day. She is the most unique person I “know”

At least someone is talking some sense
She is a child of the true earth not the one humans have created

She probably hides her ship in the forest🤭🤭
Her voice is so relaxing. Im falling asleep aha
She kinda has a ASMR voice. It would be so lovely to just listen to her all day.
Agreed I know who to listen to when sleep is tough

@@mcfrog5473 I had literally the same progression.
I always say “toxic machismo”
A term can’t be dogmatic, I don’t think.
Talk sick mask you lin it tea

"it's so important to know you're allowed..." to cry, to have mental conflict, to be a man with these issues.. I'm not a man but she is addressing such difficult issues with such poise and kindness, I love her so much and The River is one of my favorites of hers, it really helped me through depression and letting emotions go through crying
It's refreshing to see one soo young speak as she does. For all the reasons you said and, a certain reflection that is almost surprising.
Common people are afraid of the free person, envy eats away at them inside because their poor mind does not allow them to be like themselves.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR NORMALIZING THAT INSTEAD OF INDOLIZING THAT
Think about what certain cultures of music and social media can attract, or mostly attract.
Take it handy on the mushies!
She reminds me of someone who is tripping on psychedelics. She seems to really feel everything she says. So much so that she has to move with the words.
I love that so much thank u

Stims? Like government stimulus cheques?
@@Blackout0900 Jesus that was a cringe joke
@@sniffaboi5232 What’s the joke? I don’t understand
Stimming! Look it up :) all humans stim, but neurodivergent people stim in ways that make others think they're weird. Biting stuff, flapping our hands, rocking... It's a self regulating thing. I also love thstbshe doesn't hide her stimming :)
Forgot to mention that she isn't confirmed to be neurodivergent, but many of us identify with her and feel like she is like us.
I love this girl. I feel like everytime she steps, she leaves a glitter footprint.
Hey, Katie. Same. Go, tribe. x
I feel exactly the same way
Yes. I am feeling the same.
Sameee. It's like the society is bringing us down to make ourselves conform & get rid of our own way of self expression & these videos of aurora are elevating us to what we deep down love to be & to how we love expressing ourselves !

Such a sweet soul, I love her!
The fact that she felt that people are inherently good, screams INFP to me. ❤
