The climactic finale aboard the Disco Volante in Thunderball. - Развлечения
That line from Bond at the end always makes me laugh.
"*You're* glad?"
Get him! Get him!
Thunderball is the best bond film ever.
I like Largo as a Bond villain as he is prepared to fight him rather than use someone else. I was never a huge Thunderball fan until I saw a re run yesterday and now rate it as highly as all the other Connery Bonds.
The sped-up boat footage in this scene always made me laugh.
I always loved that line too. Connery delivered it flawlessly.
First Bond film I ever saw. Thunderball.
lol, 0:50 Largo gets seriously pimp slapped. and then his cabin boy walks in with some champagne randomly. Did he not realise there was a fight scene going on?
Well, the way he held that champagne bottle makes me think he rather wanted to use it as a weapon rather than serve it to Largo, but I may be wrong
That was good, especially when he threw the chair.
I like Sean Connery's Bond hand-to-hand fights.
I love those two-framed double punch sequences 1:46
I always loved this fight, alond with the speedy boat.. and the music this whole scene is fantastic
1:55 bond:TAKE THIS SEAT!
Bodyguard:WELP S-
John Barry’s score is AWESOME
One helluva fight! Adolfo Celi as Emilio Largo is a formidable bad guy. One of the best of the Bond villains. A classic.
A proper Bond fight. No gadgets to save him.
1:11 lol his face is like "NEEEEAAAAAAUUUUUGGGHHH"
Remember: the year is 1965!
I love this one too.
Bond in the thumbnail looks like a pink giant hand.
I totally agree. Especially the first 4 films with Ursula Andress, Dianiela Bianchi, Honor Blackman, Tania Mallet, Luciana Paluzzi and Claudine Auger.
2:18 as if their bodies wouldn't go flying over the boat at those speeds lmfao
Sean Connery Vs Adolfo Celi And His Men
1:10 connery's face is like "NYAAA" here.
He was great in the forgotten horror movie "Murders in the rue morgue" where he played inspector Vidoque.
Largo is the only one to have defeated physically Bond twice in a row without 007 to beat him.
the best bond fight tune. lolol. i hope they bring that bk since they starting bond all over again in the the daniel craig movies
The thing that gets me is Connery and Celi are both wearing wetsuits. They both should have been absolutely drenched in sweat by the time the fight is over.
Also keeping in mind that both Bond and Largo have just climbed out of the water, so they both should be dripping wet anyway, yet they looked like they both toweled off and then changed into wetsuits that haven't been in the water.
I love it how he bitchslaps Largo at :50
Lvd the show
I like Emile Largo as apart from Doctor No, he was the only Bond villain prepared to fight Bond on his own.
i wanna knw what this tune is called. love it so much
I like how the captain takes the time to find his hat and put it back on before having another go at Bond.
Hahahahaha didn't realize that
Sean Connery at his finest
'Get him! GET HIM!'
I love this film so much, it was the first bond film i ever saw back in 2001, i remember laughing at the fight because it's so ermmm cheese :) lol, haha It's cool though
Nice touch--this time, the girl saves Bond, not the other way around....
I think he got the point.
It's known as the 007 Theme. It's James Bond's secondary theme song, being that he's cool enought to rate two.
She's my favorite Bond girl too:) I envy that guy who gets to rescue her.
Domino's my favorite Bond girl ever. Sweetly beautiful, intelligent, innocent and romantic--and tough as nails when she has to be...like when inflicting justice, and thereby saving Bond's life.
keep pressing on:50 it's hilarious when u see Sean keep slapping Lago in the face
the guy killed at the end looks like harold wilson
@scotpens I checked that several times and your'e absolutely right....now im gonna check it several more ; )
Claudine Auger is so beautiful
If you've got paint covering your entire abdomen like was done in Goldfinger, and if it's applied thick enough, it can most definitely constrict your chest and prevent you from breathing.
1:49 Did the camera repeat the shot of him getting punched twice?
this and 007 vs renard are the best
Such a stupid fight, God I love this film.
lol!! he was tearing that guy up on the floor with the door!!
That guy was just the waiter bringing in champagne. That's the funniest thing I've seen . Bond absolutely goes to town on him. He was actually walking out, then fell down. Then he was crawling out, and that's when Bond went really berserk, chases him then smashed the door on him, then kicked him off the boat. The whole scene is amazing
lol yeha man made me laugh as well. but they still do speed up scenes these days that the thing
Heehee, I would've taken Largo's eyepatch and put it on the other eye! To borrow a line from the WWE's John Cena, "You can't see me!" :) :p
Dieselpunk era begins.
2:08 I think Largo got the point
disco volante engage ludicrous speed
hahahaha! yes i always thought this when i was really young i was like woahhhhh haha
James bond success fight largo and his henchman enjoy the scene
JAMES FUCKING BOND INDEED 👊
The sound is reallly quiet.
Ha Sean just throws the mask at the captain at :55
Why dose that guy come up with a drink halfway through?
To bash the drink onto Bond's head, of course
Hang on I missed something and I need clarification. When the fight begins it's Bond vs 4 guys: Largo, 2 crewmen and the ship's captain (the guy in white). At the end Largo gets shot with a harpoon, one of the crewman falls out of the ship and the last guy gets knocked out with a thrown chair. What happened to the captain?
The Captain was knocked out and died when the ship hit the rocks and blew up
she doesn't die...she ends up with Bond at the end of the movie!
I remember having a lot of trouble taking this scene seriously because Sean Connery wasn't wearing pants. No other Bond could get away with that.
anyone got a vid of domino dying?
@MattPicton96 In the book Bond and Largo have a fight underwater and Domino swims down and kills him there. I think it was a larger spear. Still i dont think McClory shold've stolen all the rights. He practically sent Fleming to his grave with the lawsuits! I am so glad he wasn't given a chance to make more versions of Thunderball after Never Say NEver Again.
In Never Say Never Again largo is killed under water by Domino like in the book
we've still got one bomb aboard
When will people learn Sean connery is bond no other one is Roger Moore daneil Craig Timothy Dalton and the other actor in gold eye he started bond and it end with you Sean thank you for bond your the best on one replace you rest in peace God bless you
Jill Masterson in Goldfinger (1964), the Bond film before this one. The villain covers her entire body in gold paint and she dies of skin suffocation (this death has been debunked as myths and stuff for years...) anyway just search the death on RUclips
I like the end of the movie where he gets it with a spear. Like in Platoon where the Chief gets it with s spear. ruclips.net/video/mrAru0xcHW0/видео.html
you do realise someone answered that two months ago?
Here is a first , Bond doesn't get to kill Largo the main villain who gets the drop on him instead but killed by the Bimbo instead . Only one film other comes to mind .Claudine was hot but had to be dubbed since of her accent .
I agree about the women in Thunderball, I've always thought they were the best looking in the franchise.......especially Fiona, my favourite women in the series.....
Gd stunts
I can remember just after the fight scene and Largo was dead, they decided to evacuate the boat.
The little man tells Bond, I can`t swim and then Bond says; never too late to learn and throws the poor guy into the sea. That always makes me laugh.
Sean Connery was absolutely the greatest Bond, Roger Moore was so, so, although I believe Moore was marvelous as Simon Templar in, The Saint, he was a better Templar than a Bond.
After Roger Moore, I`ve never watched another Bond movie. Now they`re talking about using a black male actor or a woman to play Bond, which will ensure I definitely won`t be watching.
0:55 it's your call
1:23 make a splash
1:55 take a seat
2:12 You always where a pain in the back
The bond girls of Connery`s era is without doubt some of the best out of them all. They were sexy, inteligent and actually could help bond when he needed it. All the actors had good ones though, but there is some really bad and boring ones in the Moore era.
This is why Connery and Craig are the only true Bonds, that was a brutal fight, no puns or jokes or silly acting.
more like extreme-speed yatch
Yes and no. The explanation that's given is what's been debunked. In fact, what would have killed her is that as paint dries, it shrinks. Hence the paint would have constricted her body, preventing her from being able to breathe. The paint would have literally squeezed her to death.
Great film with Claudine Auger the sexiest bond girl ever.
after they jump from the boat an it just gets ready to explode, Connery and Auger dive under the water , its when you see Ms Auger didnt bikini wax that day !
Eh? Then who gets covered in gold?
That was a different movie.
Actually, in the book, nevermind "killed in an exotic way", Largo went to work long enough that she came out scarred and bloody.
...And that was more like "the first act" anyway.
Yes! NSNA blows so much!
... For what it's worth, this scene is actually closer to the book.
Connery's swimsuit is horrible xP
