Very relevant over the past few weeks. I keep referring to this when they say Tom needs to respond. I just say he already did with 'Don't Look Down'.

Fun fact: When Tom was a pro wrestler his name was Allstar 😉. I see a lot of that showmanship come out in this song. He is so passionate and puts everything he has into it, it's hard not to be drawn in with him. When the beat drops, Tom is just getting started. 🤩 From what I heard, Tom did this in one take and lost his voice for several days after recording it. 7 minutes of 🤯🔥! Tom blew out his voice for 4 days from recording this. He thought about editing it out and re-cording it but decided to keep it as is. I am so glad he did. It sounds so more real and epic.

This song actually has two meanings: mainly he is saying do not allow the opinions of those beneath you financially morally or ethically affect your drive and your passion for what you love and what you want to succeed in. On another note, he is saying don’t be afraid of success and don’t allow past failures earmark your future actions and your determination to prosper in doing what you love.
It helps that Tom MacDonald used to be a wrestler, so it’s almost like cutting a promo ❤️

Fun fact: the clouds were made of about 30 pounds of pillow stuffing with lights strung through them hanging off of fishing wire from his living room ceiling in front of a black backdrop! Only Tom and Nova were involved in the making and editing of the video! Nova’s actually had an asthma attack in the middle of making it, and they had to call an ambulance for her. Luckily, they got her oxygen back up without taking her to the hospital. And within one hour after the ambulance leaving, she was back behind the camera! Total beast!
You know what is really sad? There was a time when self proclaiming yourself as the best was looked upon as positive. Now when Tom does it he is accused of claiming he is better than any others. Best rapper ever is a good example. He is speaking his worth into existence against his own mind and nay sayers are taking it personal. JS✌️
