I like when longplayers actually take damage and make occasional human mistakes during their playthroughs, instead of doing everything 100% perfect like robots. Those kinds of longplays are much more relatable.

But on that subject, I wondered if MontyMole would touch on this one and/or Megaman 9 in normal mode. Also, what about Protoman's playthru? Let's hope those will be shown soon.

Mega Man 10 has the weakest gameplay design of any of the main line games so far imho. There's waaaay too many bosses that stay invincible or above shooting range for way too long periods of time, (worst offenders include Blade Man and Sheep Man), and there's quite a few stage gimmicks that get tedious after one go (like Commando Man's desert storm and Nitro Man's traffic lanes). Weapon design is also hit or miss (hello Thunder Wool and Water Shield). Simple fixes (like Water Shield forming from the top right) and gameplay tweaks (like more types of cars in Nitro Man's stage) would've made MM10 much more enjoyable.
Yeah. I agree. It could've been better if they put more effort into it. But it's a let down after what 9 successfully accomplish. Not a bad game by all means, but pretty disappointed.
Was there a reason you almost (but not quite) completely avoided using your special weapons? Especially, why complain about having trouble with Blade Man if you didn't bother using the Commando Bomb?

That being said, posting a Long Play while cutting out such a large part of the game play just doesn't seem satisfying, especially when you DO use some of the weapons, tantalizing me all the more with the absence of others. Also, why skip the story dialogue?

Spikes work the same as in NES. There is an item that makes you not die from spikes

Mega man 7 & 8 are anime version then starting with 9 it goes back to 8 bit. Capcom really needs to get it together
