Ryan, we open up lanes in our woods here by Green Bay. We brush hog, then spray and come back with seeder and put in timothy and orchard grass. They do great in shade and keep in Grass, not trees.
I don't have a skid-steer with a front mower. I have a jd4020 with a 6' bush hog. But there's nothing like mowing down bushes and small trees and all kind of stuff like that. It's a great stress reliever!
awsome video ryan it sure takes countless amount of hours to clear paths and clean up brush for sure it sure is nice to see the jcb running well and the brush cutter seems to be working well after sitting for a month minus the small leak but thats nothing thumbs up and shared
The hardest thing in the world on a skid steer is a fecon or brush cutting attachment. Especially if you don’t have the added hydraulic cooling system. You’ll enjoy it until you scratch the crap out of it, break hydraulic fittings. And that JCB won’t last. I’ve got a 299 CAT with the forestry package, it’s two years old and looks like it’s 10 years old.
At 5:02 it looks like those two rollers put some stress on that side rail chipping the paint away. It seems like its only on the boom side of the machine.
Ryan has your dad seen some of these areas you cleared? Glad to see you're still doing videos. As long as you enjoy showing us what you enjoy doing like this vid then you don't need to focus on showing different things so much as we enjoy them all.
If you pin that washer with a punch it won't twist on you or move over time. Put the washer on then take a punch and hit it with a hammer till it dents the washer and the metal under it or drill a small hole with barely the tip of a small drill bit but then put the washer on and hit the washer with the punch right where you drill the hole 😉👍
you must've been reading my mind...I was wanting to see more pasture work shredding the saplings and undergrowth!! At some point in time it would be nice to see drone footage of everything you've done to date in opening up the newly claimed pasture ground. Surprised JCB didn't bring you in for the Farm Progress Show. Great video too!
Nice to see you reclaim those acres from unproductive brush back to productive grass / pasture land. "Fidget spinner of death" vids are always cool. How much have you managed to reclaim so far?
One of my most satisfying jobs was Brush Hog and using a root grapple to clear land. Have you ever broadcast seed back in those areas to get a catch of new grass?
That definitely looks very fun to do might I suggest a cage for the jcb door so u don't get a stick speared through the door awesome drone shots as always
Hi Ryan! How did your for hire job go? Hopefully you can get more in the future, especially because you enjoy doing it! All the best and good luck with it.
Good job. That mower is great think you should fabricated a guard for front window as annoying as it would be it would make things a wee bit safer for you /operator. How is it on the lawn cutting though 😁😉 bets you've tryed it 😊😋. Jcb doing OK to 🇬🇧😊. But have to admit that new skiddy on the farm looks a dam good machine to. Stay safe 🏴
I Like how your soundtracks fit the videos so well. I remember a video from years ago where you were wearing a Potosi Band T-Shirt with your name on it. What instrument did you play? I'm kind of guessing either trumpet or drums but that's just my feeling.
So who would be interested in online poultry ???since you’re quite the agricultural lover yourself , it’s basically having your own poultry online , I’ll give you the site you register ( depending on the package you choose) you’ll get your birds they’ll handle the rearing and distribution and you’ll be making 5% of your profit daily !
On the way to the Job, eat in town and buy gas. Mention the brush business. Promote a good family place. Heck of a job. Sell hunting leases. Get paid to fill the freezer. You have plenty of cover.
100/hour sounds like great value for your clients
How about a before and after drone comparison?

I live in Green Bay

Awesome Video and Much Love From Kentucky!!!!
Awesome video. Great job

👍👍Good job.. hopefully you can clear several acres a year
Instant gratification can be so liberating!
looks great. grass is so much better than worthless brush.
That mower is probably the best investment you’ve made, or at least the most fun😂😂
Brush hogging videos are so satisfying, love seeing the transformation!
That brush mower is the shiznitty!!!! Just what your farms needed!
15:10 is a neat tune as well. 👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
if you love that brush mower wait until you try a fecon mulcher say bye bye to trees up to 8 inches
I bought a SS ECO disc mulcher and a ground shark. Best investments ever. Reclaimed a lot of farm land.
Needs to rent a drum or disc mulcher. Will clean up into finer pieces and leave the ground better for seed
I love these type of videos! Best on the inner-net.
What you need is a bull dozer to clean off the trees on the hill side to make an open pasture while patches of woods.
Lmao, that little squeal at 15:36 was classic ryan.
that is one awesome machine that you are putting to good use
Neat gig custom mowing. Reaching new heights ! 😁
I've been wanting to start my own lawn care company and did my first lawn last night, I was just as excited when I found them!😁
Great work Ryan
That shriek was priceless!! lol
Seems you could hire some one to run that clearing brush at the farms for a year and still not get it all done ;)
You sure are getting use out of that brush mower. That was a good purchase!
It's surprising that the cattle aren't afraid of that beast.
Hey Ryan!! The cattle are going to love that fresh grass when it comes up. Nice scream there buddy lol 😆!!
Can you pile up the downed trees on some of the areas you want cleared and burn them in the winter?
You sure have a lot of fun with that thing
Loved the time lapse drone footage.

Great How farms Work Video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for the update Ryan, that is one awesome machine 👍
Awesome job mowing

Please do a fly over before and after on these. Come back next year and show us an update.
Andrew Camerata just bought a mulcher attachment that eats trees to use with his mower attachment.
What a manly farmer yelp that was 🤣😂🤣
Your videos are such a joy to watch. I'm from the Netherlands and it's so interesting to see how you guys farm in the U.S. 👍🏻👌🏻
Ryan it is good you can get some work for the machine and cut your overhead costs down
$. 100 / hr is reasonable
23:13 into it... best moment. Reminded me of a Minion. Little JCB breaking through... Poor brush line didn't stand a chance.
haha you have a great imagination now i can't unsee little yellow minions running amok
That has to be one of the most satisfying feelings when at the end of the day you put the drone up and see the reclaimed ground and how nice it looks.
I wish you would do a aerial shot before and after the fields you clear with the brush hog
Yes. Aerial before and after shot. I don't know what it is but watching this mowing, land reclamation is addictive.
Extreme makeover pasture edition. Move that JCB!!!

It’s such a cool machine, it shreds the lot. 👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Great video Ryan!
that machine is awesome!! At that price you'll have all the work you want.
We could have used some of those rigs here after Ida. That is one scary piece of machinery.

nice video ! Love them. Greetings from Belgium
Loved your reaction to the "snake"!!! LOL
Nice color scheme on the shed doors.
Circa 1976-ish I'm sure, its amazing how much of that used to be around.
@@lt1nut
Wouldn't hurt to see a bit more of the idea.
Ryan I've brush hogged for many years and after watching you. I could of loved to use this one for sure. Field in Michigan
really enjoyed watching you clean up the brush good video man good job
Looks much better.
I agree great ROI As for your custom rate I think your working cheap !
I love these kind of video's!
Nice to see you reclaim those acres from unproductive brush back to productive grass / pasture land. "Fidget spinner of death" vids are always cool. How much have you managed to reclaim so far?
$100 with ur own machine is pretty low. Usually starts around $150 an hr around me.
Does look like fun!
That's how your sapose to check the tension. I just look at them and say "hmm yeah it's time to tighten them"
First thing my mom would say, "wash that thing off down by the cow yard"!
If you ever started a channel and called it 'Ryan's JCB', I would subscribe! What a fantastic machine!
Looked like a fun time, really makes short work of the brush!
If the hydraulic capacity allows, should invest in a mulcher for jcb.
One of my most satisfying jobs was Brush Hog and using a root grapple to clear land. Have you ever broadcast seed back in those areas to get a catch of new grass?
Big Time Custom Operator!!
I like to see the brushes work
That definitely looks very fun to do might I suggest a cage for the jcb door so u don't get a stick speared through the door awesome drone shots as always
Hey Ryan, Red & Hannah.
You might find it easier to clean the tracks while manure is wet after use.
Great machine ryan. Wouldn't want to be within 50 feet if the blade came off though. Reclaiming acres by the day.
Right tool for the job makes all the difference in the world
Good job Ryan, thats a great clearance:):)
LOOKS LIKE FUN
Hi Ryan! How did your for hire job go? Hopefully you can get more in the future, especially because you enjoy doing it! All the best and good luck with it.
Put a dab of lock tight on the washer to keep it in orientation relative to the grease fitting?
Ryan, did you ever fix the dump doors on your trailer ? If not, when will you take them apart. Thank you.
well this relay makes me want to get out there with my brush mower. guess i know what im doing today.
Hey Ryan,
What was the music you had over the brush cutting portion of the video? It had a really good tune.
Stay safe 🏴

Great way to make extra money when.ya are not busy
Blaming freeze-pops on your nephew will make your nose grow! Regaining some pasture👍
Ryan was stealing his nephew's freeze-pops. He should be arrested for grand-theft Icicle!!!
Dear Santa. How are you? Hope you are doing good. I have been a very good boy this year.
Love to see you work with the JCB clearing land .
That sucker does a good job. Loves to eat through that brush with no problem.
Glad you get a kick out of it.
Take care. 😎👍👌
Ive dine pretty close to the same thing with a cheap 6ft brush hog. Especially if you cut a V in the back.

Great work..... but you need to clean your side windows , especially for that type of work !!! :)
How does spraying WD-40 on a bolt head help to loosen it ??🤔🤔😖😖

Just wondering why this was allowed to get overgrown like this in the first place?
Good video
Like the music 🤙

I think people would pay you to let theme clear the brush for you. Looks like fun. But dangerous also. Be safe . Good stuff 🤜🤛
Just be careful on them hills man. Don't want to take the hard way down.
Beautiful baby!!
That’s a great mechanism lol
