What's funny (to me at least) is I've always seen round bales in the fields and thinking to myself, why the heck did they place them all over like that! Now I know why, because I'm learning "How Farms Work"!
Ryan, I love your drone footage. I could sit and watch a drone video of that area, climbing up & over and down along the Mississippi River. No talking. Just a simple video with simple music showcasing that beautiful area. Much like you tease us with those short drone video inserts. Take Care & God Bless.
The previous video i watched before watching yours , he made 121 bales too!!!! both videos posted within 3hrs or so from each other ""BALING, RACKING AND STACKING!... IT'S GO! GO! GO!""
I remember when I was a little boy we done an acre of 150 acres what the old square baler had the two wires in it we put it up on Arnie shove it up on the wagon stacked it so high on the wagon took it to the barn had a rope at the top of The Hayloft we had to stack it inside The Hayloft that was fun and a lot of work round bale is easier for sure especially when you got a skid loader looks like you're enjoying your day don't know if that's part of the river or creek but it look good no doubt have a great day Ryan and God bless👍🙏🚜
@@HowFarmsWork I think @Sonne farms has some videos with their accumulator on a JD round baler. Even if your don't always fill it up, it's nice to get them all in the same area.
Hey Ryan!! Hey Travis!! Don't care what anyone says, the 82 and the Kuhn are a good match. Getting some great shots with your drone. Keep up the great work buddy!!
I'm now more excited than I have any right to be to see how many times you loose and regrow that beard over the next bunch of videos lol. Thanks for the "inside view" of the baler - definitely not a common view to get! And love the drone shots! The Valley has some amazing views - I can see why you like to take the drone out down there!
I know my years of experience round baling if you have a bale that’s tight like yours I personally like that because you get more hay but I also chop the bale before I feed but if your feeding older cows they have a problem of pulling the tooth out of the head when the bit down and pull it’s only the center of the bale that’s the problem with older cows but everybody got options like we do butt wholes we all have one lol keep the show going my friend I’ve been watching you from the first video
It'd be neat to hear you tell about the history and different stories about the places you guy's farm. My grandparents on both sides dairy farmed and i live on my mom's sides farm. There are a gazillion stories about just the farms on my road alone which i always love hearin. I'm sure you guys got some good stuff you could tell about, that i bet your viewers would be interested in hearing. Really like your vids!!! been watchin for years.
My my my. That's dam impressive video there😳👌👏 lovely shots nice lighting to 👍 total class work. You changed that dji 4 yet 🤔. We never need to put more than 3 wraps on our bales and there handled plenty. But each to there own. Great work from kuhn and of course you and your family. Stay safe 🏴
Nice drone footage! Always looking forward to the season. Makes me feel sentimental already :p My dogs loves jumping over those lines, especially when chasing my drone
Liked seeing the inner workings of the round baler. A diagram of what rolls against what would help even more if you could. Your drone scenes are beautiful, love the swoops and dives. No wonder you have so many crashes. Why is "tedding" called tedding? is it named after ted somebody or an acronym? 19:10 Who is that young kid?
A client of mine raises black Angus and red Angus beef cattle for the NYC restaurant trade. In just one of his sheds he store 1,000 round bales...it's like a small aircraft hanger. He has a small fleet of trucks just to move bales and feed around.
Oh I wil say it, it's either your beard or the barn! Nice shot blocking the sun! that's a good bailer can you add a tank to it? What will happen to the life of the pickup and parts?
Thanks for the great video and information. With the Baler cranked down all the way like you had it on the one bale the cows would have to have some good teeth to eat it 😂
Not sure on dropping the knives at the end of the bale. That just a hassle. My 4ft wide baler uses 15 knives but the outer knife of each side is removed and a blank installed. So only using 13. It gives the sidewalls 5-6” of uncut material. Netwrap holds the round portion together. Less issues handling them that way. Full cut bales need a squeeze attachment to move them.
It's hilarious watching Ryan messing around with bale pressures and taking pictures and then you watch The Rest of The Story and Travis is losing his mind going balls to the walls worried about getting done.
YEAH RYAN EXPLAINS IT IN DETAILS STEP BY STEP THAT'S WHY I LIKE HIS GREAT 👍 VIDEOS 😹🤣 KEEP IM COMING AND GOOD LUCK WITH THE YEALDS THIS YEAR THANKS BLESSINGS

It is amazing how precise and scientific farming has become.
That Fall low sun angle really makes your video look its best!! Nice job!!!
Such a beautiful area to farm in
That looks like a nice baler, beautiful scenery
You're getting pretty good with that FPV rig. That ridge run was great.

I love seeing the technical details of how the equipment works. Thanks!
I can't get over how well ur drone skills have gotten this video shows just that really amazed me amazing work
Hope everybody has a great Friday
Thanks for the information on making a round bail of hay. I really enjoyed it.
Field turned out nice. Lots of good bales.

The area of that farm seems so peaceful and yes very beautiful.
Great vid as always. Congrats to Travis on the great crop of hay.
Another great video Ryan. Loved the drove shots showing how far down the valley really is.
I really enjoyed the drone shots, especially of the river!!!
Amazing drone shots Ryan really cool to see your camera work get better and better over the years
I must say you really do make the 8r look good running that Kuhn baler
The hay looks great. Travis should be proud of that crop. He earned every bale in 3rd crop. Good luck with beans and corn.
There’s some thing about baling that I like. Thanks for teaching us non farmers about setting the compaction. Beautiful video. Thanks
Wow! These shots about baling in the valley are amazing! Have a great harvest, take care 💪🚜
Great to see the kuster boys getting it done😉👍 the kuhn baler is one nice toy👍😁
Can't wait to see some harvest videos👍👍
Good looking hay like the drone footage nice big fields and countryside Great video brother
Nice job again Ryan.

Excellent video great informative content along with brilliant drone footage, one of the very best i have seen please keep it up
Great vid! We use accumulators with our j.d. round balers.less chasing bales, less traffic on the fields. Win ,win
I can't help but feel like the bales would roll off of the accumulator or get smashed from the the lay of the ground
I like the pluse2 system can add to multiple JD balers and Drops 3 at a time
@@HowFarmsWork I think @Sonne farms has some videos with their accumulator on a JD round baler. Even if your don't always fill it up, it's nice to get them all in the same area.
We have had no issues! One of j.d. 's better ideas!
Cool, I had never been able to visualise the process in my mind. 👍👍👍👍🤜🤛🇬🇧🇺🇸

Great stuff Everybody, very cool drone footage Ryan, really shows the scale of that farm, the 82 and that baler is a nice combo:):)

Incredible drone footage!
good job guys
again one of the best vids well done Ryan
You guys had a great Summer on the hay! According to Travis, the total this year was 828? Great job Team Kuster!

Nice video looks great 👍
Great How Farms Work, Video, thanks for sharing
Brilliant video great seeing a bale made from inside the baler 😃😃
Looks like a great couple of days work.
The bale count was there for ya so that's good.
Cost more to shave than keeping a beard.
Take care.

If I am not mistaken that is probably Travis little girl
Kuhn makes some really nice equipment. you guys should break down and buy the mower and bailer when possible

Did you all ever get some footage of that Kuhn windrower that came along with the fancy mower conditioner?

Interesting video, thank you
Damn fine drone footage Ryan 👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Great awesome video Ryan .
Pretty slick flying Ryan 😎😎😎keep crushin it guys💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🇺🇸MERICA 🇺🇸
awsome video ryan thumbs up and shared
Awesome video!
I am here to wrap and kick ass and I am all out of wrap!
I'm curious on how the pressure on the bale effects weight....
More pressure equals more resistance so it packs the material tighter putting more product in the same size area
Be safe
Great video thanks again

How many bales will a row of net warp make?
Depends how many wraps you put on, but I believe I got around 120 on a roll
Awesome video
Do cows eat the net wrap?
How u keep the hay that is in the middle, good? doesn’t go bad!? The machine fully dries it? I am confused. Just curiosity 😅😂
where in Wisconsin do you farm
Grant County
SW Wisconsin near Potosi. Close to Iowa.
Nice hay, nice baler
Who was the guy at the end of the video with a voice just like yours.....lol
You'll be getting alot of new young girl viewers.
I'd keep an electric blower on the tractor and anytime I had to open up the bailer, like for replacing the wrap roll, I'd blow it out real quick.
IT'S NICE TO WATCH YOU WORK WHILE I SIT HERE DRINKING MY COFFEE AND EATING MY DONUTS.
Great video! The camera inside the bale chamber is awesome! Really educational thanks!
How much did each bale weigh?
It's hilarious watching Ryan messing around with bale pressures and taking pictures and then you watch The Rest of The Story and Travis is losing his mind going balls to the walls worried about getting done.
Arent my bales and he’d be baling twice as many without me 🤷🏻♂️ 😂
Pretty cool for 3rd cuttings ;-}

Here is Hannah at Ryan
I figured that on how round bales are made…. In a round about way 😅
Is there a job in the company
That loose bale would be a perfect bale for pigs in winter to eat and bed with.
would a 5x6 bale be better than a 5x4 bale?
Depends whether the guy buying them has a skid loader that can lift bales that weigh 1 ton
@@HowFarmsWork ah ok thanks
You make amazing videos.
Thanks Tom!
excellent job! Excellent explanation. Maybe next time can add the words? Be friendly to the non English native speaker
It kind of looks like you were just in a wrestling match in the beginning of the video.
i need work plz iam in johndeer mechanic
Hi
Aren't you glad someone invented that baler?
Hay is all we do...... So Watching others do about the same thing, really doesn't leave a lasting impression......

Anyone else’s here from Snapchat subscriptions?
Thats how they bale them loose when you buy them by the bale and not the ton. Just saying.
