Nice job on another one! Glad you released the video again. I like your pace while setting up autopilot and getting configured. It demonstrates how to take care of business at a deliberate pace without rushing and hitting the wrong buttons while in IMC. Nice example.
When I had my V35B interior done (years, and years ago) I made sure that they used good memory foam and made the seat about 2 inches thinner. Us 6'3 guys have a hard time with these little airplanes ;-) I only fly the sim these days and really love the G58.
I really don’t see the diamond as a big competitor, it’s really a different category of aircraft. Some of their numbers are good but they don’t give you worse case scenario numbers, they use typical weights, where as the Baron uses max gross weight numbers. Apples to oranges. Hopefully the new fuel options will work in the big bore engines and/or someone will come up with additives or a solution.
Hi Pete - are newer Baron’s pilot seats vertically adjustable? I ask because I recently sat in a recent one that a friend flies for the owner, and my head was hard against the ceiling. At 6’3” I’m tall, but not that tall.
Unfortunately no. My clients 2019 is like that and he’s tall. Hits his head all the time. The old seat style was much better. Sometimes if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

All time favorite Pete.

That's good stuff, right there!!
Nice departure in low IFR .. I thought he was gonna make you taxi to 5R , nice break out .. always nice when you pop out on top on an IFR flight
This is what I like about Flying in this type of weather conditions as long as there is no ice in the clouds
One day, you'll look back at this and think, "I can't believe I thought that was very low IFR."
👍✅ More Deja vu!!! Tks for the Pete's greatest hits Sunday. A question Pete, am I required to re-upload my comments? 🤔😂
Just your likes!
@@ProPilotPete Love what you do Pete!
Thoughts on the future of the Baron with the state of avgas and competition from Diamond?

How did you get so confident to fly in conditions like this?
Practice and experience builds confidence. No stress when it’s not convective.
is that the same controller working clearance/delivery/Ground/Tower/AND departure at the same time?
Probably so. During slower times they combine positions.

@@ProPilotPete bummer. But thanks!
👍☑ Now this I haven't seen .......or have I? One of those clouds looks familiar. RE-UPLOADED comment from June of 2023 🤣
I’d rather be flying out in this instead of the A-36
