  • Gilbert Gutierrez instructs you on his method for using the Equalizer® Python™ Auto Glass Removal Tool to remove a windshield without damaging the pinchweld. While utilizing the all-new Equalizer® RipCord™ Auto Glass Removal Line, Gilbert will walk you through each step and show you how using the Python™ and other helpful Equalizer® tools can really give you an advantage over your next removal.
    About the Python™:
Modern vehicles have tight tolerances between the glass and the body. This can pose a problem when trying to remove glass with conventional wire or power tools, leading to damage of the pinchweld or glass itself.
Equalizer® has solved this problem with our revolutionary Python™ System which uses a unique, directional suspension reel. This allows the technician to wire-out todays auto glass safely and effectively. With just the movement of a curved stainless steel slide handle and Squire™ or RipCord™, you can cut through the toughest urethane with no resistance.
Setup time takes just a few minutes, just insert the cut-out Squire™ or RipCord™onto the outside of the vehicle beneath the moulding, place the Python™ Vacuum Cup Assembly on the inside of the glass and you will begin one of the easiest removals you have ever done.
This professional quality tool is designed to offer years of maintenance free service.

48K views and no comments? Looks like a good method for doing R & R's or pulling used glass for jobs.

I saw those. I've been out of the biz for 15 years now. Looks like some great tools have come along over the years.
