- This is the EASIEST way to create old hollywood curls that will last. I'm going to give you all my quick and easy step-by-step tips! I love doing this for special occasions like weddings, date nights and when I feel like spicing up my straight hair. Ideally bigger curls look amazing for long hairstyles but that doesn't mean you can't rock it with short hair. I would just go with a smaller wand barrel if needed!

This is exactly what I needed! I cannot afford (or really don't want to pay) for a professional hair stylist for my wedding, and this I think I can do! My dress is beaded with a high, wide neck giving it a retro 20's vibe and while this is more 40's hair, I feel like it will complete the look beautifully. I might even rock a red lip...

Love this tutorial!! I have platinum blonde/silver hair. I have noticed it doesn’t hold curl as well as it used to considering I have natural wave in my hair. (Prob cuz it’s crazy processed lol). Any suggestion on products/ product lines that could help? Side not your are so beautiful 🙂

Gorgeous thank you I ha e stick straight hair that either turns into a bush when I use carmen curlers lol. Need to buy that tool. I used one with the lip that closes over the edge the longest part. Burned myself so much 😁

From what I see it was the back sections on her left side which would be close to the other curls on the right side facing the other way anyways.
