I think whether your hair holds better on first or second day hair definitely depends on hair type. As someone with extremely fine, thin, silky hair that never holds curl and gets oily really easily, my hair holds better if I wash and dry immediately before styling. This is a gorgeous hairstyle!

I don’t recommend oil before curling as can fry your hair, best thing is to use a hairspray and a brush for flyways. X

If your hair is frizzy I recommend you to blow dry before so you have a smooth base for curling x

Because if you don’t brush the hair it won’t give you that effect x
Because it’s waves not curls. If you want to keep the curl, then don’t brush it out.
