First Solo Flight

My very first solo flight as a cadet pilot in Asia Pacific Flight Training Academy. Flew a Diamond DA-40 aircraft with registration 9M-NRJ. It was an awesome feeling. Thanks to my batch mate who was kind enough to take this video during my taxi to dispersal.

Why are you so sweaty?

It's Very Hot there at that time. I cleared my solo at 5pm in the evening. The Sun was Freaking hot. So that's the reason I'm sweating like hell.

that aircraft doesn't have air-con ?

Tan jun yong Nope. It just has a blower system. So No Air Conditioning. All Cadets will end up sweating like this only.

why do you need a blower when you can just open the window and let some air in ?? :D

Tan jun yong Haha.. it sounds that easy by opening the window. But the fact is even the window can't really help much. It's not the flight phase that makes you sweat. It's actually after landing, waiting at the holding point for taxi Clearance from ATC. That time since not much airflow, blower basically useless. Above the tarmac with scorching heat we end up sweating heavily. :-)
