I bought this as soon as it was available and put it in a small spray bottle that I use when sharpening and or cleaning and it works amazing. I'm not affiliated with Gunny Sharp I'm just a very happy customer. Thanks so much for making such a great product.
If I didn’t see some of how well your other stuff works I wouldn’t believe my own eye but I’m not that damn stupid. Excellent looking stuff Gunny that will for sure save that tedious task of giving them stones the love they need to keep them blades hoping n popping them hairs off like they aren’t even attached lol🫵🏻👍🏼
Seems to be a great product so far. I also wonder if it could be used on something like Shapton Glass stones. I know that Shapton claims to use nothing but water but they sure are loaded up.
Absolutely! I use it to clean my stones with a couple drops and a Magic Eraser. I also use it instead of water when I sharpen. The stones don’t tend to load then
@@GunnysSharptalk Fair enough point! If it performs half as well as your stropping compound I’ll use it! This is a product I didn’t even know I needed…

Thank you for the support

Thanks
I will be buying some of that when it comes out for sure!
Thanks I appreciate the support. I use it as a cleaner/lapping fluid. It keeps the stones from loading so they continue cutting
I would like to demo/review that on my channel when it comes out.
We can make that happen. Message me on FB messenger and I can get a bottle to you
Can’t wait to talk about it on the show
I have you some to try

I use it on my Shapton’s
Very cool!
Can I use Gunny Shines on my Poltava Premium Metallic CBN Stones? If so, how would you recommend I use it?
Absolutely! I use it to clean my stones with a couple drops and a Magic Eraser. I also use it instead of water when I sharpen. The stones don’t tend to load then
But does it beat the age old combo of dish soap and a toothbrush???
Yes easily. If I can’t produce better products than things we currently use I won’t release the products. I will just use something else.

Looks amazing. When will this be for sale?
Working on pricing and labels now
You might have mentioned this before but is that oil-based? Really interested to get that for my venev diamond bars. Would that work on them?
It’s water based. And works great on the Venev
Oh wow, I thought it was oil. I'm even more excited to try it now. Thank you!
Does this work as well as Trend lapping fluid on the Venev stones? would like a US made fluid that works as well as the UK product. KnifeMakerk
@@michaell397 this has worked better than trend for me.
Could you explain the zip ties?
The zip ties keep the stone from hitting scales, thumb, studs etc. on a knife
@@GunnysSharptalk that's awesome. Thanks!

I'm curious of how it works on whetstones
So far really well. It dries faster than just water, but it’s water based so not a lot faster
@@GunnysSharptalk I can't wait to try it out
Let me know when it's available
In production now. It will be out soon.
