Very helpful and informative,...I work at an Elementary school, ...was working alone today, and this video saved me from calling my supervisor 👍🏼😎👍🏼... thanks again.
The only way to bypass multiple zones easily and at once without having to retype the code again and again, is to trigger a fault by standing in front of a motion detector while typing or having a window open. Do that and only then the Bypass mode holds on the screen and you can add multiple zones one after the other very easily. Otherwise you will wear out the pad restyling the code f Before each bypassed zone.
I've followed the steps. I successfully bypass the zone that I need, then the green light on the ready comes on, letting me know I can now set the alarm. However, when I go to set the alarm, nothing happens. It just sits there. So I put in my 4 digit code, then press the off. It resets everything, so I have to start all over. I have no idea why it's not setting the alarm after bypassing the zone (while it's disarmed of course). Any suggestions?
To bypass multiple zones, you simply enter each of the two (or three) digit zone numbers in a row. ie. To bypass zone 3 only you would enter YOUR CODE + 6 +03 To bypass zones 3,4,17 and 22 you would enter YOUR CODE + 6 + 03 04 17 22
I have a Vista 20 system with wireless sensors. Is there a temporary way to turn off the speaker on the keypad? I keep getting quick successive beeping from a Comm Failure. My system is doing this over and over and it is 4AM in the morning and about every 10 minutes or so it starts with the Comm Failure beeping again even though I clear it. (My code plus 1). The next time this should happen I would like a way to get some sleep and troubleshoot the problem in the morning. Hoping there's a way to bypass the beeping or speaker. Thanks. Phil NYC Area
Does the bypass Kill the sensors so they don't work or it only makes the system not beep when this sensor is activated? I'll appreciate a true and tried answer, it's very important to me to know if it's one way or the other. Thank you!
I am not hearing a chime when I open doors. There has recently been a power outage. Do you have a video for that? (I have successfully bypassed my fault thanks to this video! Thought that was the only problem but still no chime :( )
Not exactly, there are plenty of people who have insurance WITHOUT an alarm system. I hate to say this, but a) I would not bother bragging to the insurance company that you removed a zone and b) the bad guys don't have any way of knowing that you removed a zone OR which zone was removed.
this video was able to help me out on this date, and it came out 16 years ago, i was 7 years old 16 years ago BRAVO TO THIS VIDEO

WoW I’m at work and needed to bypass an alarm & this video helped me … thanksss cause I’m ready to go home !😊😊😊
Perfect video! Just what I needed for the bypass solution. Thank you for the great explanation.
Thanks for showing me what my manager continually chooses not to explain.

Nice vid. Why does my vista20p trigger when I try to arm it and then exit the garage door? Do I need to program an exit door? Thanks! Keep posting!
I wondered how you may permanently disarm a faulty sensor from the system?
I wondered exactly the same thing.
sneaking out are we?
Yes, great question, How do you “permanently “ bypass a sensor from the system? Can’t??
Thank you!! It works 😊
1:17,2:23 What is the beep noise coming from? Don't forget the brand name and model number.
Thanks Charlie, For the education I have no more problems with my alarm,
YOU THE MAN

Eliyah Kleinman If the system is armed, you can open a bypassed sensor. If it’s opened while armed nothing happens.
what if your code is 5 numbers??
Is it possible to permanently bypass a zone or delete it without knowing the installer code?
im still hoping someone knows the answer to this

Wait hold on that means i have two alarm systems
works
Directly the minute you omit a zone, your insurance is invalid. Good luck
