This guy is no joke? He literally answers all emails and phone calls! I have nothing but great things to say about dealing with him. He will be my go to and parts store from here on out on my 6.5 truck.
I'm rebuilding my 6.5 turbo diesel. I'm looking at your replacement parts. Do you have a catalog of your parts and tools. Your channel is still a big hit with me.....
I was just on the website and there's no way to add this item to the cart. Also is there a video that shows the updated kit and how to apply the 200 ft/lbs? Also, is the balancer bolt TTY or can it be re-used?
Hi, I'll have to make a video. Its simple though. The holding tool bolts to balancer (recommend shorter bolts). Then insert a 1/2" breaker bar in the tool. Rotate the crank until the breaker bar rest on the frame in a secure place. Then just torque the bolt. The crank bolt in not TTY.
Sorry forgot to say I don't have an "Add To Cart" button on the site for this tool. Reason is I never know if Im going to have a tool available. I have well over 40 tools out there and customers are not returning them, but thats Okay as you are basically buying the tool upfront and get a deposit back when you return it. Best to email me if you want one and I'll email you an invoice.
Great tools.... I have a 6.5L seems to be running well... but one question I have that is still not clear to me is.... how do I know that my harmonic balancer needs to be replaced... or that it is going bad? What are the symptoms ..? Any suggestions?
You can look at the balancer as well, if it looks like the rubber is dry rotten then it's bad. Or the little rubber ring will start to push out the front or back. Mine was starting to loose rubber out the back of the ballancer and I couldn't really tell untill I got it off
Do you know someone in Los Angeles county California who can do a decent job is installing your harmonic balancer and pulley for my 6.5 L 1998 GMC? Thanks
Good to talk to you on the phone earlier. I don't know any mechanic in your area but this is a simple job with the proper tool which is available on my website. Most people could do this on their own. Annie mechanic with the proper tool can do this job also

Vibration at idle. As said in the video, the rubber breaks down after time with the OEM balancer.

Also they should be replaced every 100K miles.

Look on the website for current pricing. Leroydiesel.com
$$??? Papa Greg here👊😎.
Very descriptive, but the part number of the kit would be nice so a guy could purchase the kit and not have to rent it. Must be top secret information
This is a kit I put together, you can't buy it off the shelf.
@leroydiesel5647 bullshit. That's a powerbuilt set or a HF Maddox. Add in some 10×1.50 bolts if needed but the set comes with it. 😂
Here ya go buddy. Same damn set. Grab ya one at auto zone for $70
