Russian Navy's Pyotr Velikiy cruiser leads drills in the Barents Sea

The Russian Northern Fleet’s warships led by the heavy nuclear-powered missile cruiser Pyotr Veliky conducted a bilateral exercise in the Barents Sea, the Fleet’s press office reported on Monday (May 24, 2021). During the exercise, the warships held ASW exercise with the participation of Ka-27 anti-submarine warfare helicopters and Il-38 MPA and mine countermeasures exercise the press office stated.
