Sad that this video isn't more popular! There is also a hidden hallway in the third defenders spawn room of Hollywood, where the exit used to be before they removed it for balancing purposes. On Rialto you can also find residue from the PvE sections used in Retribution, same with Havana where you'll find rain soaked streets from Storm Rising in an out of bounds portion of the map (behind the attackers first spawn). On the CTF Lijang Tower sections you'll also find remains of the other sections like you can with Nepal. And finally, on Horizon Lunar colony you can see a floating peanut butter jar in space outside the windows behind the first capture point.
I always thought that the overwatch maps are amazing and that they deserve to be explored and developed more! Imagine like an sort of free gameplay where you log in a server and you meet other players and explore together :)
2:04 This is actually incorrect. Firstly, the castle in the hanamura map is map-geometry, not a model. The castle in the deathmatch map is a model, most models in video games don't have their backs to help with performance and just development time overall, if you can't see something then it's unlikely devs will put much work into it.
If you use a match replay it has noclip for the camera, but if your on pc you can also in the spectator camera in a custom game press "ctrl" and "I" at the same time to activate noclip
On pc in custom games free cam spectator you can go into Noclip mode by pressing (ctrl+i) at the same time and if your on console the easiet way is using a replay from a game you played that camera always in noclip mode
@faalund It does nothing me for. Edit: Oh okay, it allows the camera to exit the boundaries. Im wondering how you were out of the map on doom without dying.
@Jesse Moses If you're above map borders you don't die, only below map borders in the "death zone" In the video he pointed out the death zone in the top point of Nepal doesn't exist in CTF, so that's how Doom could go around There are some custom ow game modes that use that Nepal map, which is pretty neat imo

I think they brought it back.
bro the fact that all control maps such as ilios and nepal are connected just feels so cool to me

I love discovering these little details, thanks for making this!
The thumbnail is golden
I think the best part is that all the control maps are in the same general structure.
good content, you still have a lot of map easter eggs to cover! like the winston secret stash in horizon
I love this type of overwatch video
great vid and really underrated
Can you do more of these?
Longer more in depth every map.
💕
3:19 bro said a whole Lotta nothing
also there is lot of flowting objects on giblartar
yea they have been there since beta 2, I am hoping to talk about them soon since its curios those showed up in ow2
also i99n paris theres a floating small health pack in the piano room-
oh how many times i have done this when making custom games :D
this is sick
Is there a code where I could do that to
If you use a match replay it has noclip for the camera, but if your on pc you can also in the spectator camera in a custom game press "ctrl" and "I" at the same time to activate noclip
I miss overwatch 1 (T_T)
Oh my god can you give a tutorial on how to do this please 🙏
On pc in custom games free cam spectator you can go into Noclip mode by pressing (ctrl+i) at the same time and if your on console the easiet way is using a replay from a game you played that camera always in noclip mode
how do you go outside the bounds of the map without getting banned
it's built into the spectator mode for ow on pc by pressing "ctrl and I" at the same time.

huh, you could do this like 5 years ago, why are people starting to care now
