I love the options from all these companies and Bluetti is def at the top of my list. These charge times are amazing, I have suffered using a tiny Energizer LiFePo power station for a year and the worst part has been the 6+ hours to charge the stupid thing... 6-7 hours to charge 240wh vs 2-4 hours to charge 2000+wh from these beasts LOL

Professor just a little info, I purchased a Beadens Power station after your review a couple years ago . I just purchased a Set power Compressor refrigerator I think it is the 37 quart , It was delivered on Sept , 3 2021. Just as a test I powered it up to make sure it was in good working order and used the Beaudens 166 wh power unit that was in your review , It ran the set power refrigerator for 9 hours before I stopped the test Both worked great . the Beaudens Had about 40 percent charge left . Great power unit . And I love the Set Power Refrigerator uses very little power. thank you and Keep the reviews coming .

Excellent review Prof. Hobo you addressed all of the questions that I had with the AC200Max vs. the EcoFlow. Based upon on my initial research I had landed on Bluetti being the winner (in my eyes) due to price, ease of use, and weight. I feel confident in knowing that I made the right choice for such a pricy purchase (much to my husband’s chagrin) that will keep our household going in the event of a power outage.

I got my AC200MAX today, but I didn't have enough MC4 CABLE to reach the spot where I needed to place the solar panels. I like that you can use two B300s with the AC200MAX. Both are on the way. 8192Ah total. I even used your coupon. If nothing else, I can use the AC200MAX as my remote power in the boonies and the AC300 and EIGHT B300 batteries as the home system. Great video! It really helped with the decision to take the plunge. So much for overpriced Jackery.

Very smart for bluetti to have rubber covers for each plug in feature. I've noticed this is something lacking in the wee ecoflo Delta 1300. If the unit never leaves a home or office air conditioned enviroment, this is fine. So, or protection from dust, splashes, bugs etc the Bluetti has it covered.

I have the bluetti AC 200 Max with two b 230 batteries for a couple of years now. Works pretty well with a couple of problems. Problem number one the Bluetooth only works part of the time. I have to reboot the entire system to get it to work again and then it fails after a few hours. Second problem is that I can no longer turn on AC output through the touch screen. Clicking AC on does nothing on the touch screen. I can only turn it on through Bluetooth which comes and goes like I said, only works part of the time. If Bluetooth fails the system will be dead in the water. I contacted customer service and their recommendation was to ship it back to them and they would " take a look ". As long ago disposed of my boxes and have no packaging in which to ship the unit back so I'm living with the issues for now.

Enjoyed the video, thanks. Just a correction though. You said that the AC200Max could handle up to 1400w of solar, but in fact it can only take 900w. The additional 500w is via the adapter. It can charge via both simultaneously, so 1400w is possible but just not via solar alone.

  • @DagonNaxos

That's a nice setup. A little bit pricey for the Ah rating and 80% efficiency at the C rating. It's not a problem if you have an abundance of solar to cover the efficiency. If you are skiddish about DIYing your own setup, though, it's pretty brilliant as a plug and play solution. The 1400W of solar at 150V is nice from an MPPT perspective.

If I understand it correctly, you should be able to do "pass through charging" ,or having it charge and discharge simultaneously, on the B230. would love to have confirmation on this.

@HOBOTECH I know you don't work for Bluetti but I figured you may be more in tune with what goes on in the industry. Why would Bluetti launch "Power Week" then not have AC200MAX's available after ONE hour of 10am launch? How many were available 10-20 units!! Would like to hear what you think. Thanks

I leave my home with a 100% charge on my AC200P. I’m really only trying to run my RV fridge I bought from Lowes. It will only run for 3/4 of a day. I have three solar panels I plug in immediately. On a full sunny day at best I get a 23% charge. Am I missing something or do I now need to order additional solar panels or the external battery???

I’m getting ready to buy the AC300 should there be a few left over at 7 PM on the 15th but have my AC 200. Just some advice to the newbies out there, it’s almost useless using 100 W portable solar panels. Today we had a bit of a sub par day in south Florida -with my two 100 W Bluetti portable panels could only get about 60-90 W coming into the AC 200. That was pretty much worthless it won’t even work for the day. So, I recommend you buying either the Bouge Rv 180W glass panels that Tom recommends on his link or buy 200 W Bluetti portable panels. I often lose easily 10 to 20% charging on these portable panels and a little bit less on the glass Bouge Rv. (I just ordered two more Bouge Rv today. They won’t be around long. New shipment came in.)

Does the DC enhancer current limit to charge from a vehicle? You will be lucky to get 10A (more like 6A) from most vehicle cigarette lighter plugs. Vehicle manufacturers use very small wiring for DC ports. 500W will pull ~40A which cannot be handled from a vehicle without special wiring. 40A is almost too much to pull from vehicle alternator anyway.

I’m now watching this for the 4th time as there is so much for us newbys to take in…the stark reality to me is the seemingly Diminished output. To get only around 1600+ (“79%”)seems quite inefficient and where bluetti still hasn’t figured out…in the end, the bells and whistles are great, the multiple charging is wonderfully innovative…but we all want the most total wh possible. Seems to me that’s where it all ends…And this manufacture has a long way to go. Even if they could get that to 85% as others are would be wonderful. Probably sufficient.

I wish they had pass thru charging when you plug in the B230 to the AC200max. Meaning if I have them connected together, and I plug solar into the AC200max, that it charges both the AC200max AND the B230 without having to purchase the DO5OS adapter (that's used to charge the B230 with solar panels on its own).

@HOBOTECH. Greetings! Thanks for all your vids and store. Subscriber and been following you for several years now! I've referred a lot of people to your channel! I was wondering if you have heard of this issue(I'm sure you have), and if you have any advice, since Bluetti is slow as Christmas in responding! I have 2 B300s hooked up to AC200Max and for no good reason after a year of use, both of the expansion batteries quit being recognized by the AC200Max. I am tech savvy, own a tech computer repair shop, etc. I have tried everything and have not heard from Bluetti yet. I went ahead and charged everything to 100% with AC power and the AC200Max still won't recognize the 2 B300s no matter what I do. Can't find much at all on the net about this, varied comments here and there and a bit on the Love My RV Channel. Also, my firmware is completely updated and the AC200Max otherwise still works fine. Thanks in advance and keep on putting out those double fisted vids!!!

It would be cool if you made a video showing what all would work to max out the 200 max and 2 exta batteries. I understand each battery can use a adapter and independently charge 500 watts of solar. I'm curious what solar panels would be needed per. The main system can go up to 1400 watts of solar with the box and 500 extra watts of solar per battery with a box per battery . I would simply like to know what panels are needed in detail per set up. That's 4 different solar independent set ups. Thank you.

I ordered the extra 12v RV cable for my AC 200p and they sent me a 200p max cord. This is a big mistake because the max plug going into the regular 200p goes in two ways and doesn't click in. This could cause big problems; as in reverse polarity smoking electronics problems. I will be calling them in the morning to get this resolved. Why oh why did they use different style plugs. Also the 58.8v wall charger only puts out 56.2v.
