Thanks for the tut. You can actually rename the controls in the macro creator as well.

It's possible to expand a macro already made in a fusion composition? I downloaded some title templates for davinci but I would love to edit deeply the title to insert for instance the company logo on the fusion animation. But I can notice in the fusion tab just the marco, so I can't change nothing than the parameters allowed from the macro creator. How can I do? How can I expand a macro on the original nodes of fusion?
Thank you, very good explaination on your video!

That's cry helpful, thanks! But I have a question, how can I later after creating a macro edit it? Like access all the nodes it's been made of and tweak them? And also can I add new controls to the macro without having to create a new one from scratch and select every control once again

I found this video very useful and solved many of my problems, great! However, there are some other problems I still cannot figure out.
If I directly group the nodes with Ctrl+G, I cannot specify parameters for the group. If I make them a macro, as this video shows, I can specify parameters, however after importing the macro in the Fusion, they are displayed as one node, which cannot be expanded to edit. However, sample templates that Davinci Resolve itself provides, when imported, they are represented as a group, which has both parameters and also can be expanded. How can I achieve that?
(Actually I just want to make a group show some parameters to control its inner nodes. But I cannot achieve that.)

Very nice video and this is what I was looking for, I have been using FCP for years and I am just learning about D.R. I am on a Mac what editor would be good to use to edit the source code to create the new names?

This is very helpful, but there's something i still cant figuring out (even by read the docs), its in the part to make it user friendly: There is a possibility to categorize and shrink the category, and i dont understand how we cand do it-
    But still thanks tho !

The directory on windows is now: C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Fusion\Templates\Edit\Effects
"The effect will now be available as a drag and drop effect in the “Fusion Effects” section of the toolbox
in the Effects Library on the Edit page"
