Flying to Singapore this Christmas for a (4) Night stay at the Conrad Centennial (mixture of certificate night/FHR/and Hilton Points) then hopping on a Royal Caribbean Cruise (4 days). Topped off (UnitedMileagePlus) to fly Asiana Airlines & utilized (SkyMiles) to fly China Airlines back. We are a family of (4) so economy/premium economy is where we stay to make our points stretch to go on at least (1-2) vacations a year. Roughly 150k miles were spent. I just recently started watching you guys and loved the New Zealand pod as we are doing Australia/NZ next year so got a lot out of that. Thank you for the content and can't wait for your next show.

Have any of you tried Hyatt Regency in Paris lounge? We’re staying there in May.
Hi Lana! Miguel stayed there and they treated him as a vip even without having Globalist status. When his room wasn’t ready they gave him a key to the lounge and escorted them.

I am so lucky to get 25 vacation days and 11 PTO days. I always say 5 days off is a 9 day vacation. Tack them onto paid holidays and it can be even more!

Hello! I would love to receive a club access lounge. I'm staying at a Grand Hyatt at the end of Februrary. Althought dates are 2/25-3/2, I can change it to two reservations with a check out and back in on 2/29 so that we can check out the louge if received. Thank you!

I booked a business class Singapore Airlines flight using Aeroplan from LA to SG, 5 days stopover in SG, then, business class flight to Manila. We have an infant on lap so me and my wife selected the middle seats with bassinet.
We're very excited because this will be our first business class flight! We don't mind the 18hrs flight since it's in business class lol.
It costs us 152,500pts total and $734 USD. Because I selected the "most popular" option (per Aeroplan) that ask to pay a little more cash to save up some points. I'm not sure if that's the right thing to do, however, the cash price of the whole itinerary is about $12k.
I'm trying to earn 2k Wyndham points so I can book the Wyndham Peninsula hotel. It looks a pretty nice hotel.

Did you check with the airline to see if you have to pay a supplement for your infant? It might be a good idea to get to the airport early to make sure your child’s ticket is all set. I think it's already set including our baby because Aeroplan only requires additional miles for the baby. Also, I checked our booking directly in Singapore Airlines and all our names are in there, plus additional 1 checked baggage for the baby. Anyway, we're still planning to be in the airport at least 3 hours early to enjoy the lounge lol.

We’re going to Singapore and Bali in one month and I wanted to ask you if we need to do anything in advance before leaving in terms of visa on arrival or something like that. I know there’s something like that when you enter Bali thank you in advance.

For Singapore, as a US passport holder nothing you need to do. You do need to fill out the online digital entry form. Once you arrive in Singapore, when you arrive in the customs hall, look for the automated lines, you can use those instead of waiting for the officer.
For Bali, you have two options, you can do Visa on arrival. We did the online visa offered and it was a bit difficult or I should say challenging to complete. It had a hard time reading our passport and the photo. Depending on when you arrive it could be an easy entry or long lines…you can also fill out the customs form online as well, that saved a bit of time.
