Or when he kicked his elderly mother in law out of her house in London because she couldn't afford to pay the rent. Yeah Frank is a class act through and through. I'll leave you to judge the level of sarcasm in this reply.

David Vujanic Yeah, and the 3-5-2 he says would have been great in 2006, Terry, Rio and Carra then Scholes, Lampard in the middle, Gerrard in front of them. Gary and Ashley in the WB positions and Owen and Rooney up top. Could have been lit.

I'm with the guys here definitely. You "hate" these kinds of players when watching them throughout their careers but when you see what they're like off the pitch, you realise you don't really hate them. Lamps is a class act through and through, what a nice guy.

My favorite Fifa and chill by far, even as a united fan. The honesty is what makes it. So many people now afraid to just say what problem they had/have or what went on in anything behind the scenes. Most would've just said, "unlucky or don't know" and try to dodge the question.

england never won anything because the managers refused to change from a 4-4-2 system when they had 3 of the best midfielders in the world in the side (scholes, lampard and gerrard) and instead tried to play scholes on the wing, despite the fact he was slow. The managers also refused to stop playing lampard and gerrard together in midfield despite it clearly not working. we should have played a 4-3-3.

Any fan of football who've seen English football would admit it..
I think Lampard's Argentina example is a valid point. But its only 1 piece of the puzzle.
The success that Spain has had despite having a majority of FCB & RM players in the squad, whilst El Clasico was one of the biggest derbies in the world actually contradicts it.
I think England never having a good, English manager coaching them during that golden generation is the main reason. For e.g. if Sir Alex was there instead of Eriksson, it wouldve been a different story.
I mean you almost had a point with El Clasico, but the fact is, that on the Spanish Team there were only 4 real Madrid players, the core were Barcelona players who played together since they were kids, on Real Madrid's case we had Casillas who was loved by everybody, Alonso didn't played to many Clasicos since he was a Liverpool player util the year before (2009), at the same time Alonso was paired with Busquets and both played in the same way the did that whole year at Madrid, all we got left was Ramos. Madrid was full of foreigners and that's why it didn't affect the chemistry of that team the way affected England. I also believed that having a Spanish Coach helped as well.
First FIFA and CHILL I've watched until the end. FRANK LAMPARD is a LEGEND.

A top professional who took the game so seriously and rarely dropped below 8/10. A proper leader, someone to look up to on and off the pitch. What a player, what a man. Super frank 💙
