El Salvador was the capital of murders in the world, Im the world, In 3 years He made El Salvador the most safe coutry in Latin America, The most safe country in Latin America. He hasn't put any innocent in jail. I'm from Dominican Republic a Spanish speaking country, I know a lot of Salvadorans people, They told me how things used to be. They deserve this change. As a reporter you should know, security needs to be the number one priority. Once the country is secure tourism will stimulate the economy. Then it becomes attractive to investors creating jobs and allowing the economy to grow. There is no such honeymoon period to come to an end. It is a process. El Salvador has been rotting at the hands of corrupt politicians for the past 50 years. The current state of the county is amazingly promising. Why are you trying to diminish his work or label him as a dictator is beyond me. He has put the rights of the honest decent workers ahead of the rights of criminals.

I work with many salvadorians in the US. When i mention his name their eyes opened and with joy they say they love him and support him. It’s the most loved president of our time. If every country had Bukele as their leader the world would be better place

Dictator isn't necessarily a bad term. It means having absolute power that can even change constitution, can arrest people with force. But if it benifits the people of the country then he's a good dictator.

A dictator can overrule the law. Modi didn't do that so he is not a dictator. Being a dictator is not a bad thing as long as it's not bad. If a dictator have support of the people, then it's a good thing. But if a dictator didn't have the support of the people, that's an entirely different situation. Modi never took a day leave unlike Bekele. So don't compare a cool dictator with the most popular leader of the world.
Bukele is the rarest breed of leader, the "populist king" -- a person with absolute power but are working for the good of their people/country rather than their own self interest. Any man who gives into greed/corruption will turn into a tyrant, hence why it's such a rarity for such leaders to exist, since their heart has to be in the right place. When such a person is found, like Bukele here, the country prospers.

I am Salvadoran myself and I can say that one year before Bukele became president, I thought My Country could not be fix, there was no hope but Bukele became president and everything started to change. Now we are the safest country in the western hemisphere

When the country suffered under aggression of gangs, UN Human Rights was unheard of: When an elected leader of a sovereign country did something to clean up the mess, UNHR gets into the picture listening to the pleadings of the criminals and their supporters ( esp. families ).

I’d like to know what human rights are being violated? Criminals? Oh but when daily hundreds were murdered no one spoke up. Today you can walk through the city streets, towns and villages without fear. People had to be indoors by sundown when gangs ruled the country. Today you can walk at any time of the night. The youth are out more, the difference is soooo obvious! Unless you go yourself you will not know of the blessings Salvadorans have today. We love Pr. Bukele and his wife. They are both godly people. They are imperfect humans working to give the new generation a better country.

Everyone I talk to doesn’t like him but LOVESSS him. One last thing, getting rid of fear by death is the most important aspect. I'm from El Salvador and the people couldn't be happier to be safe. Things are expensive. I rather pay high prices for food that be worried that my kids are in danger just walking to the gas station..... If you weren't at all involved with the gangs there's nothing to worry about. The rights of the people matter more than those of criminals.
