My grandma always put a piece of bread in the container with the brown sugar if it was hard. The moisture from the bread would go into the brown sugar so it would go softer. Works like a charm for me.
It’s obvious you’re a very clean lady. If you’ve done this for decades and not gotten sick, then you’re good.

Oh my gosh you are amazing! I wanted to surprise my daughter with cinnamon rolls tomorrow morning. You are the American grandma I would picture teaching her grandkids to bake. Brings great memories of my grandma in Puerto Rico when I was a kid and she thought me to cook, we always used our hands. I dream of one day my girls visiting me with their kids one day. I’ve made these a couple times! THE BEST!!
You can use a stand mixer if you have one. Use the dough hook. I’ve also did it over night. Made them all the way, besides baking. The slowly rise in the fridge, pulled out first thing and let them get warm.

I'm making these right now, my husband will be thrilled when he comes in from work tonight, I will have a pot roast dinner waiting and a cinnamon roll for his dessert. Growing up in a Mormon family his mom baked all the time, and his brother took on the cinnamon rolls from, and I may have this wrong but a recipe from the Beehive house, he made them for us one time while visiting him and they were amazing. I just love how simple your dough seems. Thank you for sharing.

I love seeing your beautiful family visiting you. It reminds me so much of when I was younger and we visited my parents. My siblings all lived close to my mother so they always came over whenever I showed up with my kiddos. I lived ten hours away so we only visited a few times a year. It was so awesome to see all the cousins playing together while my sisters and I chatted. We had six children in my family ( 5 girls and 1 boy) and my dad passed in 1984. I only have a sister and a brother left now and I live so far north and in another state that I haven’t seen them foe a few years. I cherish the memories of those days when we were altogether and look forward to the future when we are all reunited.

Hello l went on RUclips to learn how to make bread and l saw your video and l decided l will watch it l love your down to earth ways and simplicity so l tried your recipe and l'm so proud of myself l made good bread soft and tasty l also like the fact that you use oil. I once heard Dr. Oz said the looser the oil the looser the arteries so l have been using oil to knead with for a very long time now. I modified it to four cups of flour because l live alone. Aah my bread came out so good. So l decided to try the cinnamon roll. I admire your beautiful family and wish one day l might be adopted into one. Will let you know about the cinnamon roll. Love the frosting. This is a time to discover cooking and baking for me. Stay safe. Lots of love.❤
Looks good! When my brown sugar gets hard, I have it in a ziplock bag, I put a damp paper towel in the bag, then microwave for about 10 seconds at a time, mix up to see if the chunks have broken up, and it works really well.
When you open it keep the rest in a Mason Jar with lid on tight.....you will love it.....

I live in an outback community in Western Australia and I bake these and give away to people in our community EVERYONE loves them but fortunately mine never look as professional as yours altho I do try hard haha I love you guys Thank you for empowering me to make bread at over 60 iv made many things but always afraid of bread 💜
You will never have a food contamination problem in your home when your home is kept clean like yours is and you wash your hand many times

My sister taught me a trick with her cinnamon rolls: cut them into strips in stead of rolling them as a log and then roll them up individually. That’s what I do now and it’s so much easier. I love to use your tucking trick too!

Your bread recipe is the greatest and it taste soo good when I first made it, it was perfect. It's the way you tell how to do it and the way you share your family stories. God bless u more. I find your learned cleaning and some cooking experience quite helpful to apply as a young adult moving forward(God Willing).Thank you for your time and meticulous work in laying practical experienced things, bringing helpful ideas to us. Also, the joyous, compassionate, caring attitude in what you do (That radiates and really encourages in my struggles to enjoy and to press on ). I suppose your character and attitude was somewhere also on your consious growing list of improvement in young years. Bc somethings i see in yours inspires and makes me want to put character in my lists of improvement too. Seeing your good attitude in what and how you do "regular/routine things" for those around you,is omething i am making note for my self. The way you articulate and share your learnings whether in cleaning helpful strategies..it's quite helpful for me in my beginings and early prosses of figuring things out. While having my personal goals of obtaining some structural rhythm of a clean home and happy steady fed family. My dream is doing this one day gracefully like second hand and being able to focus and grow in other areas that might also need dedication in upcoming seasons. Thank you ma'am. Trully seems like a blossoming skill in given title as mom and grandma. Please continue to pour into and love on your family they can be very cortunate. Don't grow weary in doing good! I have tried this recipe that was recorded on Ellie’s channel. Every time I make this the dough is never that nice. It is always too sticky and I have added flour and it still seems sticky. Do you have any suggestions?
Same within mine
Don’t add more flour, instead, cut back on the water by a half a cup. If they are still too sticky cut back another half a cup. Where you live and the different types of flour can make a big difference but adjust with the liquids not the flour and see if that helps.
