Georgina absolutely knows her onions fantastic interview. I also love proper job , tribute and St Austell. Nice work cheers 👍🍻
Cheers Rick! Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful video. Cornish gold is probably my favourite speciality kilned malt.
What a fantastic video and lady! Just fantastic- thanks for all you have done this year in supporting this marvellous hobby
A great insight to the brewing process at st Austell I really enjoy seeing what goes on behind the scenes and all the hard work and dedication that makes some of the country’s favourite beers can’t wait to see what you come up with 👍
Glad you enjoyed it We are looking forward to showcasing our version soon!
Did a tour a few years back. Had a chance to chat with the late Roger who was master brewer. Really nice bloke who was happy to chat. Such a loss to a great brewery. It looks like Georgina is carrying on his legacy. ❤ Best wishes to all at St Austell.
It's a really special place! Roger's legacy really does live on their and Georgina is the most wonderful custodian of this whilst adding her own impact. Glad you liked the video
Great interview, beer looks beautiful, pity we can’t get it downunder. Can’t wait to brew a clone. Cheers.

Great video guys, I work at a 20 barrel brewery on Skye, when she said the tanks were 180 barrels each I was like, ok, our tanks aren’t that big😂. loving these brewery tour vids👍

Glad you enjoyed it It was a fantastic experience and our version is close to being ready to release!
Cheers 🍺
How's that Tribute recipe kit coming along TMM? I've bought the existing one from the website and compared the recipe with what Georgina was advising and it looks like there's some clear updates to make the beer even more similar! Looking forward to that one dropping :) Keep up the great work!
Coming soon! We're almost ready to drop the recipe kit and yes there are a number of alterations from the original clone kit we made!
Great video, love their beers. When are you going to do a kit for it?
We’re finalising the kit at the moment with a few test batches on the go, so it should be ready in the next little while to release! We are very keen to make sure it is as close as possible to the real thing!!
Yeast can be propagated from a bottle of Proper Job. PJ yeast has more esters compared to yeast grown from Fuller's Bengal Lancer, as judged by my nose! It's interesting that she mentioned an orange flavour. Fullers yeast is said to lend a marmalade flavour and I have heard the same of the dried yeast, Bulldog English Ale B4 (from the German RUclipsr The British Pint).
I'd be interested to know how to propagate yeast from a bottle! Have you done it?
I was going to suggest the propogation from proper job myself. I have seen a recipe on brewfather which does just that.
@WarfareJournal The video below shows the process, but I recommend the following variations. 1) Cool the bottle(s) for a day or two in the fridge. I used one bottle. 2) For the first starter, create a 1.020 SG wort, which is more gentle on the yeast that 1.040 SG.

The test brew I did just this weekend is fermenting with dregs from 4 bottles of Proper Job that I have grown up, so we'll be sure to mentioning this method in the recipe when its finalised.
Do you think the bottling yeast is the same as the batch fermentation yeast? I’m not sure if an additional yeast may be added. Not sure.
