Zone of the enders, x squad, bad boys 2, run like hell, all B and C grade games so I went back to the record and game exchange store and low and behold I found MGS 2 sons of liberty I found CRACK and then I find MGS TWIN SNAKES more CRACK and then MGS SNAKE EATER I guess some more CRACK you see what I'm going with this I brought a new CRACK STEM (Nintendo GameCube) to smoke more CRACK (MGS TWIN SNAKES)
I liked this game when I was small and I was angry when it suddenly did not work. Now I know why. Because my dad changed the graphics card on our PC and it was too advance for the game lmao.
Back in the old days where most PC games would break with a newer graphical card generation. Also, for some reason, they used the PAL version for PC which means the game runs at 50FPS.

For example Starship Troopers 2005 with a better graphics card the game doesn't render because of effects so you need to disable them and suddenly it works. On older graphics cards it worked flawlesly.

Developers back in the day just used whatever GPUs they had for development, so a next generation GPU using a different API would break these games easily because they didn't have the correct instructions to run them. Nowadays you can manually install older DirectX versions for compatibility, however many early 2000s PC games are still unplayable today unless you use mods like Silent Hill 2 because they did not have DirectX by default. Also to answer @dragomilosevic4823: Games with capped framerate do not have a frame limiter off tickbox. So the game is stuck at 50FPS because it's a crappy, direct PAL conversion.
Fun fact, if you ever see photos/paintings of people in video games, and they look a bit off, or it's just a bunch of 30 year old men with normie haircuts and sunglasses, it's usually the game dev or art team putting themselves into the game.

I remember how disappointing this was because Bad Boys was religion in my house. We loved the movies. When BB2 dropped on DVD, my family would watch it like a billion times. Then THIS came out. But to be fair, a little of the small details in the game are the things that would hook customers. For example, you gotta think back- that was PS2 era. That was like this little Wild West bubble of time where people were discovering new ways to make graphics and details pop. So little things like seeing a looped gif on a TV to simulate a live picture, or pieces of paper floating around the ground like gutter trash (the bank heist part) were neat little details that didn't normally appear in games until them. People sleep on the evolution of gaming environments sometimes.

One thing you’ll notice about this game, especially when it comes to combat, is that using cover points is actually less effective than just going into a room and just shooting them. You take less damage that way and the only time you’re actually required to use cover points is in boss battles.

I didn't even know that there was a Bad Boys 2 game for PS2 let alone at all, but here is the thing: movie based games rarely turn out to be successful or good in quality. Spiderman 2 from the PS2 era was really the only successful movie based game that I can think of.
I loved how you could shoot any object and they would break. Had so much fun breaking everything at the bar in the beginning. The cover system was revolutionary for me. I didn't think it was even possible to make the character take cover as it's completely new(for me) and would've been so hard to make the character do it. Those were my child-thoughts anyway.

honestly I like this game, it's cool how many quips the characters have depending on what you do and it's pretty fun to shoot stuff and the plot is kinda interesting.

honestly I like this game, it's cool how many quips the characters have depending on what you do and it's pretty fun to shoot stuff and the plot is kinda interesting.
