You can already use Bitcoin as money and currency. Anything that needs "backing" is unreliable and will ultimately fail.

Wow! What a great video. you so well articulated. Monetary and Fiscal policies should work hand in hand to have a full effect, but we live in an era where government just doesn't care, it will spend and double-down and spend more and more.. it just doesn't care, and it would debilitate the monetary policy. The sad outcome will be likely BOTH the transition to a digital dollar CBDC that will give ultimate control to the government thus shrinking even more the independence of the central bank. At some point the central bank will have no actual meaning left. Honestly, it feels we're not too far from it already..... I would buy Bitcoin and buy hard assets like gold /silver as a store of value while also actively trading...The only wild card for us investors is to actively engage the market by trading, it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... They have always been selling oil in every currency. However mostly in the dollar. They powers at be will blame other entities such as the Saudis when the dollar loses even more purchasing power. To keep blame off them and the federal reserve.

Philippines must understand that the dollar currency is going down because of sanctions and sanctions to other countries doing business with the US. Is it good, think about it ? Business must be done in good faith not making enemies. Right?
Maybe we’ll have a need to manufacture things again since we won’t need to operate at massive trade deficits to send those dollars overseas. Maybe it’s not all bad.

The US would "allow" Saudi Arabia to put their dollars into the US Market. I'm pretty sure Saudi Arabians can buy stocks on the NYSE if they want, and they could do it before 1974 regardless of the deal. It's more like the US can't force Saudi Arabia to keep their oil money in US Banks anymore.

Here is a good study: correlate the DXY to purchasing power parity. I see the DXY near multi-decade highs, giving an impression that I will get more goods denominated in other currencies, thus international trade is favorable. However if the DXY has gone up 10 to 15 % in the last four years and price inflation has gone up over 20% then purchasing power parity of the USD has gone down during that time frame relative to goods.

Supply minus demand equals inflation. The Petrodollar was meant to create demand for the USD, and now that's going away.
3 key points - 1. Saudi will not have to invest the money into the US economy. Guess where the money will go. 2. There is a new money transfer/trading system. Meaning trading don't need to buy US dollar to use the swift system. Less demand of the US dollar. 3. the programmable digital dollar can ban/restrict the type of trade... bad for drug/illegal/weapon trade.
Well I believe the petrodollar agreement was linked directly to bases and troops with military equipment. Maybe it’s a great time to quit sending weapons to Saudi Arabia and bring home our troops. China and Saudi Arabia have a new agreement good luck.

The US Dollar is the king of currencies *for now.* The usage of the US Dollar is declining gradually...until it declines suddenly.
When will it decline suddenly and precipitously? No one can say but we can be certain it will happen. I'm guessing within 20-30 years.

If dollars are lent into existence, and those dollars are paid back and are no longer further borrowed then that’s deflationary for the USD

The "use" of the dollar worldwide will also depend on how America behaves, geopolitically speaking. You are 100% right with what you said, but we have to take into account the fact that America is currently making itself completely impossible worldwide. As a result, the dollar could ultimately have a significant dropoff. "Spreading democracy around the world" is a bit outdated, so to speak. Blockchain can make the world a lot fairer, provided the right decisions are made.

It looks like the world financial system is set to move from a decentralised global general ledger, to a centralised regionalised programmable general ledger. The only problems I think are that the world system of trade is a giant holistic supply chain network, rather than a simple financial network, and governed at an even higher level by the rules of supply and demand, and the rule of exponentials (annual growth/decline = exponential growth/decline). The trend lines therefore are more likely to be exponential in shape, unless the scales are logarithmic.

Looking at the US Debt clock, observing the United States is going into 1 million dollars more debt every 32 seconds, with unfunded liabilities clocking in at 1 million every 3 seconds. Glad to see that it's taking a minute 45 seconds for an additional million in interest payment due on the debt. How can that not make one feel a lot better about the US Dollar (ie..Federal Reserve Promissory Note...if their promise was for its purchasing power to do down, they keep it, in spades. What good will come from all this? Will take a little more bitcoin and gold, going forward, for the foreseeable future. 💫✌
