This is great for people like me who have a good grasp of intuitive F2L and need to optimize some of the bad cases. So many of the similar videos are for people learning intuitive f2l or for some of the really basic "advanced" cases (i.e. corner in slot misoriented). Of course those videos are super useful in their own right, but this really fills a gap IMO!
4:12 A cool way to solve that pair into the back left slot is to put both pieces in the front, do a righty sune, and then you'll be left with a 3 move insert. 6:44 There's an easy way to memorise this algorithm, it's just a sexy sledge but you replace the R moves with the wide R moves. Nice video, definitely didn't expect this format when I saw the thumbnail lol
@@TheKoalaKangaroo Your F2l edge will be in front with the side colours facing you. Your F2l corner will be in the front right with your cross colour facing upwards. From here, do Sune and then L U L' to solve this pair.
Thanks Tingman for the amazing video! This was really helpful as I was struggling with f2l: it was dragging my solves down. I had never realised all these f2l tricks until now! Thanks so much Tingman! Keep it up!
This is honestly one of the videos I’ve been waiting for so for! My solve went down by 2 seconds after I learnt all of this! Thank you so much tingman I just realised that this comment is kind of similar to another comment so I just wanted to point that out
4:12 You can do L U L' U2 L U L' U' L U L'. It doesn't require regrips and doesn't break homegrip rules. 7:48 You can do R2 U' R2 U' R' U R' U R2. You have to start with thumb on top, but it has no regrips which makes it pretty fast. PS: I think I made this algorithm as I have not seen anyone use it or talk about it before.
For "#2 The edge on the side" (6:09), I think it's easier to move the edge to the back of the cube then do a Sledge Hammer + Sexy Move (without the final U'). So from the way you were holding the cube when the edge was on the right side, it would be (U' (R' F R F') (R U R' )). It's the same number of turns as the alg you used, but I think this one is better than the alg you used.
Thanks 4 the F2L video! I am currently getting 20 secs on 3x3 n I wanted 2 learn F2L. This video will help me! Thx tingman! Gonna go daily puzzles and buy a cube n use code tingman :)
For 6:54, instead of using m moves, you can use U ( R’ F R F’) U R U R’ it’s just moving the pair away then doing sledgehammer then insert it’s better for look ahead
My personal space: 0:23 The nearly perfect pair (same side on top, back slot solve) ✅0:48 The wide insert (pair pieces back , back slot solve)✅ ✅1:17 The long sledgehammer (pair pieces front, back slot solve)✅ ✅1:49 The Feliks 3-second solve (rotationless 3 mover)✅ ✅3:31 The 11 mover, from behind (all slot can do)✅ ✅4:32 The F block (same as 11 mover situation)✅ 5:08 The lucky inconvenient pair (back slot solve, white side) ✅5:33 The keyhole edge✅ ✅6:09 The edge on the side (sledgehammer is easier)✅ 6:55 The one with the M slice (front slot solve, white side) 7:27 The edge to the back (back slot, corner solved)

for the last one you could have done... R U R' U2' R U' R' U R U' R' all in home grip and I think more efficient. great video man and those were some awesome tricks!!
Love this video, though could I trouble you to say, point out the F2L pairs because this noob took wayyy too many re-watches to even find the first pair in the very first case you showed >< (It got easier after that but still… T.T)
Broooo number 2 I found by using parts of plls and adding wide moves I thought I invented it and then I see it in this vid. But I still loved it love the channel and I wish ya good luck tingmsn
5:06 you don't need to push with right index finger for the U' you can (and should) do the normal U' with your left finger 7:27 you can do R' U R U R' U2 R U' R' U' R

Wow I didn't know about that sune trick, will probably keep using L U L' U2 L U L' U' L U L' though for lookahead purposes.
Instead putting them in the front, you can do a back sune
I kept trying but I didn’t do it. What do you mean by “putting both pieces in the front”
@@TheKoalaKangaroo Your F2l edge will be in front with the side colours facing you. Your F2l corner will be in the front right with your cross colour facing upwards. From here, do Sune and then L U L' to solve this pair.

for trick #6, it's actually better to put the pair in the front and do Antisune, regripless and you can cancel into the 3 mover
For 6:54, instead of using m moves, you can use U ( R’ F R F’) U R U R’ it’s just moving the pair away then doing sledgehammer then insert it’s better for look ahead

Thank you tingman for this.. I learned intuitive f2l a week ago and these will surely help me to get faster
Fantastic fel tricks
tremendous video Tingman! Full of useful tips which I’m excited to implement in my solves, and the WatchMojo parody was hilarious!
i didn't know that F2L 11 mover from the back, thank you!
This simplifies the f2l cases and helps me soooo much.
I discovered the 11 mover from the back earlier and it is very easy to learn

For the wide insert one in 1:01, I use f R' f'. I got the inspiration of this alg from the Feliks insert.
5:06 you don't need to push with right index finger for the U' you can (and should) do the normal U' with your left finger
7:27 you can do R' U R U R' U2 R U' R' U' R

I learnt all those from Jperm’s videos but he showed a long one that you showed in 3 moves thanks bro.

Hey Tingman, can i Just ask what is Trick 8 for? From the case in the video, isn’t it an alternative for the wide insert?
Great video can you do a video on pll?
For that case in key hole where the pair is in, but the edge is flipped what is the best alg for it.
5:52 if the colors do not match use:
D' F R F' R' D
6:03 that case I use this alg: R' E R2 E' R and then 'follow tingman tutorial'
Can you not do the keyhole on the other side if the color does match?
