I can't believe I'm watching such high quality production on a bag reviews channel. And I can't believe I'm actually enjoying watching a bag video review.
Our entire team just crowded around a 'puter to watch this review. Hilarious? Yes. Thorough? Yes. Ahhhmazing? Hells yes. Let us know if there's anymore gear we can send your way in the future!
haha! Yes, me too. Although I did just buy one using Chase's link. Hey @Peak Design I'll see if I can do a review from my perspective with my DSLR and gopro gear.
So this guy jerks off on your product and you at #peakdesign love it, yeah no shit, maybe don’t gush directly on the guy’s RUclips channel. Or just stop paying small channeled to hock your bags that can’t stand up.
I haven't owned the bag myself, so I'm reserving judgment, but if you're in the market for constructive criticism I think this guy makes some valid points that should be taken into consideration for the next revision: ruclips.net/video/_E2pANs_Qjs/видео.html
Just came across this video, was a kickstarter backer for this bag. Just thought I would give my experiences of this bag 2 years on. All the good stuff Chase mentioned in the bag are pretty spot on, overall it is a versatile bag for almost anything, from your valuable tech and camera gear to your gym clothes. The flexifold dividers adapts to most things you pack in there. BUT you cannot carry them all. The biggest gripe I have with this bag is that it is UNCOMFORTABLE over long periods of use, it gets worse if you load it with even more stuff. I have been using this as an everyday bag for my laptop, charger and essentials. It is okay to carry it for a relatively short distance. However, when I used it for a holiday trip to Greece in the summer, carrying this bag in the heat was torture. The ventilation on the back is next to none, my back was drenched in sweat, and it felt I was carrying a ton of bricks. Even my friends said it was heavy. But the only things I was carrying were my water bottle, a mirrorless camera, a medium sized lens and a few other small necessities. The weight is probably is because the bag itself is a bit heavy to begin with, and its design pretty much packs everything densely in a small space, and the shoulder straps are not wide or cushioned enough to spread out this weight, so it ends up having all the weight focused on 2 points on your shoulders, by the end of the day I could see the strap marks on my shoulders. The sternum strap helps abit but not for long. So this is kinda the reason I'm trawling through Chase's videos to look for an alternative. Ultimately, a bag needs to be comfortable to carry, despite all the thoughtful functions/straps built into this bag. And I think many of the newer bags now are starting to follow suit. The only reason i would still choose this bag is it's ability to access the main compartment while standing. I can say I did enjoy having this function on holiday, as i can quickly swing the bag around, unzip and pull out my camera or swap lens. I do not have to set the bag down, unzip and pull out the camera/lens.
I totally agree with you and it was why I sold it after using it for 2 years. If you are looking for a camera backpack with quick access to only a camera and a few lens, I recommend Tenba DNA 15, Wandrd Prvke or Mindshift Rotation 180. I picked Tenba DNA 15 and don't regret it at all. If you want to carry more, I recommend Mindshift Backlight 26L. You can spin the bag to the front and change lenses without having to drop the bag to the ground.
What is better ? Looking for a bag for work or a messenger bag, this seems great but if it hurts after an hour of use it may not be the best. Did you find an alternative ?
I finally found a deal on the V1 Everyday backpack in all black, 3 years since I first saw your review. Re-watching it now and it is just as entertaining as the first time. Just wanted to say thanks for doing what you do.
7:34 just made the video for me. I've never enjoyed bag reviews like yours, Chase. Really happy to have found your channel. I'm a full Peak Design user, owning the 20L and the full Travel BP kit, but just watching your review on other bags is so enjoyable. Keep it up, buddy.
just started this video, but I need to comment first 😂 wanted to review this bag as well and so many have asked me for it, but now I can just send them all to this video. thanks, mate
Bo Ismono, but your reviews is absolutely different type of reviews - brief, but rather informative. I think you should consider making a review on Peak Design backpack, because a lot of people don't have much time to watch long videos and you are really helping them.
Thanks for giving this bag the Chase Reeves treatment! Truly my favorite backpack by far. One of the nice features you didn't mention is that the hip strap and sternum straps are actually removable. The sternum strap is also height-adjustable and fits into tightly stitched slots built into the straps. In the 20L I'm able to fit two ultrabooks (XPS9360 and XPS9365). The 9365 fits into the iPad slot, albeit barely.
My quick review: the all black 20L looks great and has the potential to function well as a tech daily carry, but is just hella small.. too small for any other use. I'm a student, and I can barely fit all my shit in it (pencil case, folders, notebooks, headphones, calculator, laptop, charger). The waist straps are pretty annoying to get out and put back so don't count on using them very often. i have an asus 2015 15" laptop and its a real squeeze in the laptop compartment, i suggest only getting the 20L if you have a slim/small laptop. Also, if you use the quick access pockets for anything other than like a pen or headphones, it'll bulge out into the main compartment which is really annoying and obstructs that opening (which is already tight to begin with). Honestly, I was disppointed about the bag functionality for its price point, it it just looks cool to me so I'm keeping it. It's a shame they don't make the all black in 30L.
Extremely functional and convenient to use, but it's a tough bag to carry for ext need periods of time when fully loaded. It really needs a much better waist strap.
I picked up the black 20L version and I really like it. Granted, I'm not a full-time professional photographer, so my uses are likely different from someone who needs it to be the ultimate gig bag. I do carry a lumix gx85 and maybe an extra lens (though if I'm going to be doing photography I'm more likely to bring my 5L sling which I love... it's the bag that, to me, makes more sense for carrying a small photo kit). But the 20L backpack is really lovely. I don't need a ton of stuff with me, so mine isn't overpacked and feels very comfortable to wear. I wouldn't use this as a travel bag by any means. My Minaal is way better suited for that purpose. Right now I'm going to meetings during the day and stopping in cafes here and there to write. On the bottom "shelf" I've got my Minaal rain cover (just in case it starts pouring) and a tiny packable rain shell for myself. On the middle shelf I've got my Lumix with a 20mm prime lens and on the other side of the divider I've got my mac charger. On the top shelf right now I've got a notebook, a lonely planet travel guide on italy (the chunky one) and a more slender book. In the laptop sleeve I've got my small macbook air. The little hidden pockets are for floss and keys and the like. I don't have much in the little side sleeve pockets at the moment. They're nice, but I don't want to fill them just to fill them. Curious if anyone has found a great use for them. There is no perfect bag for every person and every purpose, but for the pleasure of using this bag and the interesting organization I'm glad I bought it. Yes, it's expensive, but I think the best bag is the one that gets you excited to use it, and the more stuff you can carry (within reason) the more texture your day might have as a result. Maybe I'm overstating things, but between this and the 5L sling (really a wonderful little bag) the pleasure I get out of utilizing them is worth noting.
The 30 liter is my daily driver as a wedding and portrait photographer. I carry two Nikon DSLRs, 70-200mm, 24-70mm, 85mm, 28mm, and the PD Tech pouch. I also carry a 15 inch MacBook Pro and all of the dongles *DONGLES* that requires. Oh, and a 40 ounce water bottle. There is a thin line between digital nomad and digital packrat. Oh. Two speed lights as well.
After watching everyone of your videos (not really, don't get an ego about it) I went with this bag, (tough call between this and the invisible 3). Used your link, and got 25 bucks off! Bonus! Whoop!
Must reply. Bought the 31L first (after watching all the great reviews like this one) but I'm 5'1'' and it was too bulky and heavy and the expandable pocket was not effective. That all would've been fine if the straps were comfortable but they SO WEREN'T! I'm a student with a SMALL mirrorless camera (Sony A7Rii) - I carry everything I need for the day but got the 31 in the hopes of being able to carry gym clothes/tennis shoes and carry my other necessities - macbook, pens, wallet, earphones, lunchbox, camera, notebook. And it was a STRETCH to get it all in the 31L. I tried to order the 21L hoping that I could cut down on what I carried and maybe just use it as a daypack or working pack for when I was on videography jobs, but it was ridiculously small. It fit my frame better and wasn't super uncomfortable, but I could not even fit my daily necessities without gym clothes. I really wanted this bag to work. Good luck to you all on your quest to find the perfect camera back. Still searching.
Yes mate! You finally got your hands on them! I remember requesting this review a few months ago and you've delivered. Nice work. I have the 30L already. It's great for all my camera equipment. Thanks again.
I've been leering after a PD Everyday backpack since buying their messenger back in 2016 but haven't pulled the trigger yet. However, this is the best review I have seen to date and I owe myself a Christmas Pressie another plus point is that availability is good in the UK - some of the other bags have to be shipped in and that can be a real palaver. Hopefully this won't be an issue once a trade deal is done. BTW - congratulations on getting a smutty scatalogical joke into a bag review - that was particularly impressive and as someone with a very base sense of humour I really appreciate the effort and it appears that these PD Backpacks are everything they are CRACKED up to be. ;-)
Great video Chase! So obsessed with this bag right now and am watching as many videos as I can on it! Your video was awesome! I love the energy, personality, and fun you put into the review. It's my first time watching one of your reviews and I rarely comment on videos, but this was just so great! Looking forward to watching more reviews!
This is - hands down - the most entertaining & informative bag review I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot. New sub here. You just sold me on a 20L (v1 on sale for a stupid low price right now)
Chase - would you think the 20l bag will hold the canon 70-200 mm and another lens half the size including one or two camera bodies (Canon 5d and 1dx)?
Why didn't I find these reviews when I was looking for a daypack/playground bag??? Urban dwellers are out all day many days and now that my kids are grade school age, diaper bags make no sense. Those shelves??? Raincoats on the bottom, out of the way, yet totally accessible. The bottle pockets sort of hide when not in use. The org inside the side pockets are good for snacks and minimal first aid (grade schoolers!). If this converted into a tote style carry, I would be buying as I type. Great reviews! I wish you did those bags marketed to women, too!
I was thinking of buying this bag, the Nomatic (not sure if you've reviewed that yet), or the Aer Duffle pack. Which do you think would be best for carrying all of my school material (laptop, notebook, folders), lunch, and gym clothes? If any? I'm having such a hard time finding the perfect bag to carry all my stuff.
hey chase i got a direct question for you! and please help me out cuz ur the only one i know who has the 20L everydayback pack. will the everyday backpack 20L be able to carry an msi gl62m laptop with dimensions of front width 15 3/8th in Depth 10 1/4 in Thick 1 1/4 - 1 1/2. I dont mind squeezing it in if i have to but the max dimensions on their website say it wont fit but i was wondering if it would if u stretched it out a bit? please let me know thanks!
Amazing reviews Chase - really appreciate your awesome work! I was wondering if you think this bag is suitable for daily cycle commuting? It doesn't seem specifically targeted for it as others seem like the LBB Breakaway or Timbuk2 Especial Medio? Thoughts? Cheers!
Hey Chase, stumbled on your channel as i was looking for a backpack. Im looking to get a backpack to carry some photo gear and just other stuff (dongles, ipad, headphones, cables, etc.). I have peakdesign accessories for the cameras, arca swiss type plate, wrist handle, and strap. really dig their stuff. As having some pd items i was looking at getting their bag. Though recent reviews on Amazon have me thinking twice as there are reviews of poor quality control. I was thinking what do you think this bag against the WANDRD PRVKE? Both look great and right around the price point. Though the PD bag is higher in price. Im looking to use this to travel soon as I am planning a trip to Europe and i will be bringing camera gear for sure. I will most likely use it to hold a Nikon D600 with two lenses and a Fujifilm x-20 with a lens or two. Though for the europe trip it might just be the fujifilm as i used a fuji in Italy before. Look forward to hopefully seeing your recommendations on the two bags. Thanks for such a great review. I also saw your review on the WANDRD PRVKE bag.
Hey man, couldn't find a review on the patagonia storm front bags. 45L roll top or the 30L zip bag. Have you used any of those before? Or have any recommendations on waterproof back packs out there? Thanks for the reviews!
Hi Chase I've just seen your video (which is as great as always I just love your enthusiasm when you're speaking) and I really liked that bag but the price seems a bit to much. Do you really think It's worth it ? Thanks again for putting so much energy in your videos !
I am searching for a backpack for work. I want it to stay fairly slim when full. I carry a 15 inch laptop, books, and my lunch bag in my backpack. I am thinking about the incase icon. Do you know anything along those lines with a water bottle holder.
I "heard" that the shoulder straps on the 30l are too small - which means when having the 30l full of stuff and heavy, the shoulder straps hurt on your shoulders. Is this true ?
Really? Their website has it the other way around, that it goes from 12 up to 20! That was kind of what was making me consider the 30, that 22-30 might be a better range for what I wanted to do with it. But I love the tan one, and it's only in 20L, so 🤷♂️
This is a dangerous channel...I don't even need a bag but keep on waiting for you to upload a new video. Enjoy your video like a great stand up comedy XDDD Now I'm really think about buying one of these. Orz Dangerous
HI Chase, really loving your reviews. I'm still doubting between the Minaal Daily and the Peak Design 20L. I was just wondering, how many wool sweaters would fit the Peak Design 20L? Just to compare it to your other reviews. Also do you know if the 2 side flaps on the Peak Design have 2 zippers, 1 on top and 1 at the bottom. And if so, is the bottom zipper one 'lockable' like the top one?
Oh good question about the lockability on the bottom zip. I assume so, but I don't have a bag here to test it. between minaal daily and peak 20L, i'd personally go minaal because the size is smaller. You can fit probably 5 wool sweaters in the peak and maybe only 3-4 in the minaal. The peak is a bit bulky in regular use because of the padding. If you want to protect stuff on the inside, definitely go for the peak.
Got a 30L one and I'm really contemplating whether I should return it and get the 20L one. I tried the 20L one before, but it just seemed a bit too small. E.g. when I went to the gym with it, I could barely fit just the gym stuff alone in it. When I put in my laptop it also seemed like a pretty snug fit which I'm a bit uncomfortable with. So I thought the 30L version would be better, but now I have the same thoughts as you do. Would you still go with the 20L version in my case? I'm planning on using it as a backpack for college, so I need to carry a laptop, a few books/noteblocks and the usual stuff like chargers, pencils etc. Thank you! :)
Cote&Ciel Isar! I would love to see your thoughts on it! I just got mine and it'll (probably) be last bag for a long time. It's very versatile. I got the coated canvas medium one, but they have small and large as well. Plus lot's of different materials!
Hey Chase! I'm looking for a daily every backpack to carry random sh**** not just camera gear, BUT ALSO I want it to be packable. The 20L can be packed? Like just lay flat on may travel bag?? Or it's so sturdy that it won't get thin?
AH MAN, great review I'm gonna buy one because of it! also you remind me of zach galifianakis haha especially when you were modeling the backpacks side by side
+Brenn Hill I prefer minaal for travel stuff and this pack for daily carry. But there are so many different uses for bags for different people so use your own judgement after seeing what the details of the bags are.
Is this bag worth $96 more than a Nomadic? After discounts using promo codes and added fees for shipment between the two bags that the difference I’m seeing. $203 Nomadic vs $298.91 (note I’m shipping to Peru so there’s some extra shipping and taxes). I prefer the look of the Peak bag but that’s a lot of extra cash for two very similar bags.
Yes actually. It is. If you like how this bag rolls, if you like everything about it, then the materials of this bag you will love more and more over time. But if you like the nomatic more, if that really suits your preferred pocket/look/etc, then this is NOT worth $100 more.
Your comment about the way bags are and how they represent you at the 25:00 mark is 100% spot on. I’m new here and happy to see someone else as passionate about bags as I am. *subscribed* Question: I'm in the market for a new bag. I like this bag in the 20L and I like the aesthetics of bags like this and the Incase Icon or City. Looking to take me laptop, some extra dongles and my Sony a6000 (maybe 1 extra lens?). Have any suggestions?
Well, there's literally not a bag out there like this one. If you can handle the price and you like what you see (in my incredibly helpful video!) then you already know what to do. Incase is more affordable, just as useful organization in some bags, but this is a definite cut above. Alas, this is your journey, Mike. The wand chooses you, Harry, so listen to your heart.
I was honestly waiting for a "It's dangerous to go out alone" mixed in there. LOL! Well it sounds like the Peak Design Everyday Backpack in the 20L flavor is where I'm headed. Thanks again and keep making great content!
Hi Chase, very nice review! The bag is GORGEOUS DESIGN + FUNCTIONAL COMPARTMENTS = HEAVEN!! I didn't realize that this bag is designed to be a camera bag. I am getting this as a gift for by boyfriend for work and gym. Do you have any feedback on using the bag as a work bag or gym bag...like going to the gym after work. I was thinking that the divider can be used to compartmentalize the running shoes, workout clothes and lunch.
Thanks for the review, Chase. Did you walk around with the hip straps on with the 30L? I have one, and what I noticed that after a few minutes of walking they become loose, and useless. =(
FYI I just bought this bag on Amazon ( the 3rd bag I've bought off of your advice, I know I'm a bag fiend). I'll see if it meets my needs and if not I'll return it.
Hi Chase and thank you, for all your videos. Just a question :) does the medium packing cube fit in the 30L everyday backpack peak design? Thx for your responsable.
Dude love your vidz. I have been looking at the Tom bihn 19l for a while. It has the perfect pocketsetup and size for me.(I want something that fits as a personal item on Spirit Airlines) The only prob is that the Tom bihn is so ecpencive and ugly. Can u help me out?
Hey Benton, I have both bags. Maybe I should do a comparison review for you. I have been thinking about doing one. For longer trips and travel the WANDRD PRVKE rocks. I took it on a trip to Jamaica and it was outstanding. For day trips and and short outings I think the Everyday backpack is easier to use because you can access stuff on either side of the backpack.
That was more fun to watch than it should have been. Thanks as always Chase. Look up the Thule Subterranean Carry-on duffle 40L, seems right up your alley for single back travel and is only $200
Chase!! Your the best reveiwerer..er that I've ever seen! PLEEAAASE check out the nomatic backpack it looks soooo cool I recommend you review it 😁👍👍 keep up the good work!
Chase when you apologized to the bag for stuffing the extended straps back into the little pouch I spit my coffee all over the place. Too friggin funny! Thanks for the info ✊🏽
Hey Chase, just bought this bag from your link and they gave me a $25 discount I wasn’t expecting which was nice. Also got the Wndrd Prvki (sp) bag s few months ago through your link, disappointed with that bag, not useful outside if carrying the photo cube, looks cool though. Thanks
As a youtuber, I'm looking for a good bag like this but the price is pretty steep. I've seen DSLR/laptop bags on Amazon for under $100. Can I expect a bag like this to last longer, work better feel more comfortable? Or is the price tag sort of a status symbol?
THere's definitely some status involved. But that's in play as much as you want it to be. The other thing that's in play is how good the bag works in use... materials, design decisions, peripherals (like clips, etc.), and the uniqueness of the bag itself. I like where your head's at.
this is like a paradise to me ( because i love backpacks) , your videos are so well explain , thank you so much , love your channel , I just subscribed , thank you so much :)
No, it's full of rigid foam which gives it shape. Peak Design makes two other bags and their Everyday Sling does collapse really well. I usually collapse it into a checked bag, and take it around town upon arrival when even a backpack is too much.

Thanks, y'all!

Hey was wondering if you found an alternative bag to this one and which bag you got!! Would love an update to see which bags you preferred/liked!
Thanks a lot for your comment. I’m looking for a bag right now and this helped narrow the field.
Check out the fstop dalston if you want side access and comfort !

Thanks, really appreciate it. I want to, but I havent gotten the chance yet. So many bags to review, and I'm moving next month.
Thanks Bo!
Dude, low key super long review...however when you droppin that kind of coin on a bag, really appreciate the highly in-depth review here! Well done 👌
Thanks man.

Great review, thank you! Do you think I can punch the cover with an enamel pins? Is it possible, since the cover looks hard? Thanks
Just bought the bag with your link. Thanks for your outstandingly entertaining and thorough review! Waiting with great anticipating for its arrival.
After watching everyone of your videos (not really, don't get an ego about it) I went with this bag, (tough call between this and the invisible 3). Used your link, and got 25 bucks off! Bonus! Whoop!
To open the Maglatch easily, you should pull it out, and then down. Try it, it is soo much easier this way.
I just received the 20L. This packs oozes quality.
Please please please expand your reviews into other fields, I can't get enough of them.
You just sold me on a 20L (v1 on sale for a stupid low price right now)
how much did you get yours for??
"It's very techy." That tan colorway looking nice though.
Chase - would you think the 20l bag will hold the canon 70-200 mm and another lens half the size including one or two camera bodies (Canon 5d and 1dx)?
I've been looking for a bag that will fit my needs for both EDC and photo equipment. Still torn between the 20L and 30L.
Love this bag, just wished they had more color combos. Thanks for the great review Chase.
Please Review the Goruck Gr1! I feel like you would love the bag, its durable, minimal, stylish, usable. I think it hits all your marks!
Sir, I believe you just sold me on this bag over the Joey I was considering. Nice job!
You nailed the "dad bod turn"!
you mean the "hot bod turn" right?
I would agree mister hottie reeves.
Hi, would the 30 L backpack serve as a travel backpack? And does it fit a 15.6 inch gaming Laptop? (2.5cm thick)
hey chase i got a direct question for you! and please help me out cuz ur the only one i know who has the 20L everydayback pack. will the everyday backpack 20L be able to carry an msi gl62m laptop with dimensions of front width 15 3/8th in Depth 10 1/4 in Thick 1 1/4 - 1 1/2. I dont mind squeezing it in if i have to but the max dimensions on their website say it wont fit but i was wondering if it would if u stretched it out a bit? please let me know thanks!
Chase, can you get to the laptop and ipad when going in from the under the flap?
I just bought this bag, Thanks for the review!!
I just found our channel after looking for a new bag. You're very entertaining!!! Thanks for the fun review.
Your review is incredible brother. Now I'm definitely going to buy this now thank you.
Other reviewers have commented the straps are not comfortable with a heavy load and/or prolonged carry. Any updates from you with longer term use?
Does the 30L (not fully packed) fit under an airline seat?
Yes it should. Though might stick out towards your feet a little.
@@chasereeves I'm having buyers remorse and maybe wish I had bought the 20L. Unless the 30L really fits, then I'm ok!
Well, it'll either work or maybe return it for the other to make sure it's a purchase you feel good about for years to come.
Amazing reviews Chase - really appreciate your awesome work!
I was wondering if you think this bag is suitable for daily cycle commuting? It doesn't seem specifically targeted for it as others seem like the LBB Breakaway or Timbuk2 Especial Medio? Thoughts? Cheers!
Yea, it would work fine for that as long as you ain’t in a SUPER wet place.
I love your videos, but could you review a bag that's less than $100? I'm just not able to spend a ton on bags in college
Awesome video! If you have to choose one for traveling and carrying camera gear between this and the Prvk Wandrd which one would you choose?
I would pick whichever one I liked the look of more.
Which for you is?
The toughest choice out there
Bro, your review was awesome! Not sure if it was the bag or your humor, but I'm sold!😂😂
Thanks!
Thanks for the super detailed review!
Totally worth it
I just got my 20L all black!! I’m in love 😍❤️
Your reviews are very helpful. Can you do one on the nomatic travel bag?
Can you flatten the bag a bit when it is sort of empty or it stays at its 'round' shape all the time?
I saw they advertise the 30L for a 15" laptop just like the 20L. It looks larger though. Do you think it could fit a 16" laptop?
I am searching for a backpack for work. I want it to stay fairly slim when full. I carry a 15 inch laptop, books, and my lunch bag in my backpack. I am thinking about the incase icon. Do you know anything along those lines with a water bottle holder.
Hi! Have you done an review for their sling bags from peak design?
I "heard" that the shoulder straps on the 30l are too small - which means when having the 30l full of stuff and heavy, the shoulder straps hurt on your shoulders. Is this true ?
Chase, nice work my man. Regarding the extra volume. Does that mean the smaller bag is variable from 20l - 28l? or is it 12l - 20l? Thanks
From 20L-28L!
Really? Their website has it the other way around, that it goes from 12 up to 20! That was kind of what was making me consider the 30, that 22-30 might be a better range for what I wanted to do with it.
But I love the tan one, and it's only in 20L, so 🤷♂️
I love so much that you said Madrid and Paris.
I agree about the sizes. The 30 L i returned and just ordered the 20 L. The 30 L looked waaaay to bulky and "square-shaped" on me.
I've been trying to get them to send me one. No dice yet.
Hey Chase! I'm looking for a daily every backpack to carry random sh**** not just camera gear, BUT ALSO I want it to be packable. The 20L can be packed? Like just lay flat on may travel bag?? Or it's so sturdy that it won't get thin?
Won’t pack down like that. Check out matterful.co packable bags page.
These are such cool bags, every time I see one I think it looks like something NASA created.
totes!
AH MAN, great review I'm gonna buy one because of it! also you remind me of zach galifianakis haha especially when you were modeling the backpacks side by side
I have the bag, it is a great bag. But your review, it is so entertaining! Great job mate.
How would you rate this compared to the Tortuga outbreaker and the Minaal? Who would it be better/worse for?

Question: I'm in the market for a new bag.
+Rose L. You got it on the compartmentalizing!
Any plans of doing the PRVKE 21/31? Another great video man!
Will the 20 liter fit under an airline seat?
I didn't see anything that told me about a free gift when I clicked on your link. Are they still doing that?
Thanks for the review, Chase.
Did you walk around with the hip straps on with the 30L? I have one, and what I noticed that after a few minutes of walking they become loose, and useless. =(
Sad! I didn't have the same experience, but I didn't use the hip strap for too long.
Thanks for getting back to me, Chase. Maybe it's just my pack, or the way it sits on me. =(
Great review. I love your videos. You deserve so many more subscribers. Please keep doing what you're doing!
FYI I just bought this bag on Amazon ( the 3rd bag I've bought off of your advice, I know I'm a bag fiend). I'll see if it meets my needs and if not I'll return it.
May I ask your height and weight because I am thinking of buying the 30L but worry that is too big for me. I am 6'1'' and 230 lb.
I WANT DIS WAN NOW! 8:50 in and you haven't shown me the pockets yet. TEASE!
Hi Chase and thank you, for all your videos.
Just a question :)
does the medium packing cube fit in the 30L everyday backpack peak design?
Thx for your responsable.
Fits in both, 20 and 30…
hey, can you splash water to your bag when you were doing review?
thx.
good edvice i might bye that for next year when i go back to school in 4th grd really good edvice
Love the review. Not finished yet and I'm laughing so hard. Watching you shove the straps into the bag and it looked like you were stuffing a turkey!
Dude love your vidz. I have been looking at the Tom bihn 19l for a while. It has the perfect pocketsetup and size for me.(I want something that fits as a personal item on Spirit Airlines)
The only prob is that the Tom bihn is so ecpencive and ugly. Can u help me out?
The side water bottle pockets have magnets. "How do they work?"
Could a medium format camera and a lens fit in the 20L?
How this bag compares to the WANDRD PRVKE bag, I would like to see a side by side comparison.
Hey Benton,
I have both bags. Maybe I should do a comparison review for you. I have been thinking about doing one.
For longer trips and travel the WANDRD PRVKE rocks. I took it on a trip to Jamaica and it was outstanding. For day trips and and short outings I think the Everyday backpack is easier to use because you can access stuff on either side of the backpack.
dude you're fucking awesome wish I found this channel earlier
That was more fun to watch than it should have been. Thanks as always Chase. Look up the Thule Subterranean Carry-on duffle 40L, seems right up your alley for single back travel and is only $200
Chase, can you review the Aer Duffle and the Aer Gym Duffle? Those are my favorites
.
Aer Duffel coming soon.
Awesome!
Chase!! Your the best reveiwerer..er that I've ever seen! PLEEAAASE check out the nomatic backpack it looks soooo cool I recommend you review it 😁👍👍 keep up the good work!
??
Chase when you apologized to the bag for stuffing the extended straps back into the little pouch I spit my coffee all over the place. Too friggin funny! Thanks for the info ✊🏽
Hey Chase, just bought this bag from your link and they gave me a $25 discount I wasn’t expecting which was nice.
Also got the Wndrd Prvki (sp) bag s few months ago through your link, disappointed with that bag, not useful outside if carrying the photo cube, looks cool though.
Thanks
Thanks!!
Would it be too easy to be opened on the top?
As a youtuber, I'm looking for a good bag like this but the price is pretty steep. I've seen DSLR/laptop bags on Amazon for under $100. Can I expect a bag like this to last longer, work better feel more comfortable? Or is the price tag sort of a status symbol?
THere's definitely some status involved. But that's in play as much as you want it to be. The other thing that's in play is how good the bag works in use... materials, design decisions, peripherals (like clips, etc.), and the uniqueness of the bag itself.
I like where your head's at.
I lost my sternum strap during my trip to new zealand. during an xray, i forgot to store it and im pretty sure it got lost in the xray somewhere lol
this is like a paradise to me ( because i love backpacks) , your videos are so well explain , thank you so much , love your channel , I just subscribed , thank you so much :)
Welcome to paradise!
Could the backpack be compressed to stuck into a large bag such as tom bihn aeronaut and doesn't need much space of it?
Most likely not, the bag is pretty rigid and doesnt compact super well
No, it's full of rigid foam which gives it shape. Peak Design makes two other bags and their Everyday Sling does collapse really well. I usually collapse it into a checked bag, and take it around town upon arrival when even a backpack is too much.
THX.
But I do not like the sling bag.
Yea, what these guys said - no squeezing this bag down, the materials are rigid.
Only thing I mind is that the top maglatch is too easy to open from behind. Thou a lovely bag that I wish to have one.
