I honestly sympathize with Waylon Jones here. He didn't ask to be born with that skin condition, or be abused throughout his younger years. I think he puts forward the attitude displayed here to make people leave him alone. And, after the things he's endured, I can understand why.
Yeah I feel sorry for him for being born with his condition and being abused by his drunk aunt and bullied by other kids for it but that still doesn't justify him killing and eating innocent people who did nothing to him so he's still evil and he still deserves to die but if he hadn't been born with it or if he'd been treated kindly despite being born with it he would have turned out differently.
I love the voice talents of Steve Blum, Tom Kane, Arlean Sorkin, Kevin Conroy, Cree Summers, and Mark Hamel in this game, the voice cast and gamplay made this game epic, and as a added bonus Nolan North and Grey Delisle are joining the crew for Arkham City.

For all those people who think Killer Croc is an animal he's not he's just a regular person with a skin condition which is epidemic hyperkeratosis and beaten almost his entire life so I understand why he's acting like this
the scarecrow That's the atavism. Croc actually has two conditions the first is the skin condition that granted him the thick/scaly skin. The atavism is what grants him the heightened senses and strength; the psychological impact also contributes to his appearance, as he begins to file his teeth and claws and scars himself with each portion of humanity that he loses.
It probably doesn't help that all these people patronize Croc and don't treat him like he's human (such as asking if he can understand them). Sure, he kills and eats people, but he's been treated like that all his life. It's bound to be part of what makes him so hostile.
@Coral Roper. And just chucking bits of meat down where his cell is for him to eat and trying to pretend he doesn't exist the rest of the time. There probably came a time in his life after all the mutating his body did as he grew up, all the abuse from his aunt, bullying by other kids and so on Croc decided "I look like an animal and everybody treats me like one so I'll act like one."
I know Croc had his own DLC in Arkham Knight but there should have been a confrontation between him and Scarecrow in the main game where Scarecrow either tries to kill or manages to kill Croc as revenge for mauling and trying to eat him in the sewers under Arkham Asylum.
One thing that is in every arkham game except Knight is titan. I always wondered what Croc would be like on titan and thought it would've been a good idea for a boss fight if Scarecrow pumped Croc with Titan to make him bigger extremely powerful and also inject him with fear toxin to drive him completely animalistic. Waylon Jones sadly finishes his life having become what the world always saw him as and it Would've been super intense and epic to deal with but knowing Knight it'd just be a batmobile boss fight
If I was the doctor the minute the second interview stopped that would have been my official letter of resignation. A motherfuckin 10 foot tall crocodile threatens to eat you and you stay? That's not devotion to the job, that's insanity lol.
I think he's better towards her because he is being treated like a human with her. He had a sucky life and people never gave him a sense of humanity. It's sad actually. In all honesty, if people treated him in the same way she treated him he'd probably be quite the gentle soul. I think that's why I personally like him. He has potential but people take it away to quickly.
problem: regressive atavism. his reptile mind is slowly taking control over his psyche meaning he is becoming more animalistic by the day meaning soon due to the stress and mental/physical trauma he will slowly be lost and truly be an animal.
You really gotta feel bad for Croc. No matter how he acted, people are gonna treat you like shit for being born looking like that. As a result, he's basically become the monster people called him.
I found it funny with killer croc taunts the doctor. She ask him where the victims were hidden. He says you should have looked in the sewers. Referring that he ate his victims. So funny I can’t see why people aren’t talking about it. Croc: it usually takes 8 hours 💩
"Hello, my name's Dr. Gretchen Whistler. Do you understand me?" "Yeah, I hear ya, bitch. Now get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich!" That's how I heard that part. >_>
Realistically, while Croc's custom-made (not by him) cell would be in Arkham's sewer system, the personal would have to close off and reinforce any exits, as the sewer system would just let him escape even easier. Any time maintenance came down for sewer inspection, Croc would have to be supervised by Arkham Riot Guards. And sticking to the realism, Croc would have an electroshock collar to keep him in line. If that failed, they'd have to install tranquilzing gas in his cell in the sewers.
I think his Arkham Asylum design and voice is his best version. I mean do you see and hear him?! That's what i see and hear when someone mentions Killer Croc!
