So clear and concise. No extra words or tangents. By 2mins into the video you had already clarified so much that it is like you heard all the questions I've been asking myself. Thank you!!
Brian is extremely coherent, clear and full of information with his explanations. He has been the most helpful teacher from RUclips for me all semester. Keep up the good work Brian ! Thank you so much
Thank you so much for this videos! Wish I came across this channel in the beginning of my semester. Have my Final here in few days and I've already learned so much just watching your videos instead of the lectures provided by my professor. Thank you again!
Thank you. This was very helpful. i have a physics final next Thursday and this will be one of the many things on the test. i never had a good grasp on this concept but after watching the video it is a bit more clear. Thanks again, God bless
Great and thanks for letting me know. I just tryto go Step By Step, in fact you can see a listing of all my videos at my website, www.stepbystepscience.com
thanks really much man! when i have got completely NO basis about physics and getting messed up currently with my course of geophysics, you definitely save me. D': THANKSSSSSSSSSSSS!
+Renzo Silva Thank you and thanks for mentioning the detailed part, I try to go over everything step-by-step…in fact, you can see a listing of all my videos at my website, www.stepbystepscience.com
Finally my "ah ha" moment after watching this...i'm trying to get a head start for my University Physics II class and this cleared up confusion I had after reading my text! Many thanks!
The positive charge has an electric field going outward, the negative charges has the field going inward. Why is this? Is this a way to show that positive and negative charges attract, i.e. do the electric field lines show the movement of charged particles?
This helped a lot with understanding the equations behind it. But I'm still not understanding how it's measuring the whole field? Or is it a measurement/magnitude of that ONE POINT within in the field?
+kushal Bhetuwal I thinks your question is a bit unclear but, I would have to say no! You can see a listing of all my videos at my website, www.stepbystepscience.com
Probably yes. Energy, voltage as in EMF, potential energy as in E(pot), etc.... You can see a listing of all my videos at my website, www.stepbystepscience.com
@@stepbystepscience I am. It is definitely correct. WHAT IS THE EXPLANATION OF SPACE AND TIME ON BALANCE: Invisible AND VISIBLE SPACE in fundamental equilibrium AND BALANCE. This necessarily and clearly involves interaction, on balance. Consider what is the eye (on balance). Logically consider what is a two dimensional surface OR SPACE ON BALANCE !!!! Notice the associated DOME AND black “space” of what is the eye as well. Really think about it all. Consider WHAT IS THE SUN ON BALANCE. (NOW, think about time.) Outer “space” involves full inertia, AND it is fully invisible AND black. Consider one and three dimensions ON BALANCE !!! Now, consider what is the fourth dimension and the term c4 from Einstein's field equations. Think about ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy AND think about gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). Consider what is the man (AND THE EYE ON BALANCE) who IS actually standing ON what is THE EARTH/ground (ON BALANCE) !! Think about TIME !! Think about why there is something instead of nothing ON BALANCE. Consider that time is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE. Think about the man (THE EYE) that actually IS IN what is outer “space”. Think about time. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky ON BALANCE, and consider what is the speed of light (c) ON BALANCE. NOW, consider what is THE SUN. Think closely about everything in this writing. can you pls help me answer this. Find the electric field at point P on the y axis and at a distance 0.4 m above the origin. The electric field is created by the three point charges as shown below. The charge q1 = 7x10-6 C is in the origin of the coordinate system, the charge q2 = -5x10-6 C is placed on the x axis 0.3 m from the origin and the charge q3 = -3x10-6 C is placed to the right of point P and at 0.4 m above q2. Determine also the force exerted on a charge of 3x10-6 C when placed on the point P. My answer for the electric field is 4.78x10^5 N/C and the force is 0.82 N. Idk if it is right.
What is reality???? Is there such a thing? But I digress...they represent the direction and magnitude of the force on a positively charged particle. Does that help?
Very interesting, that is great! Is it in the Oswall CBSE Question Bank Class 12 Physics? Would you be willing to send me a picture of the cover and the page where the QR code exists? Just interested to see how it looks in the book. bhswarthout@gmail.com
+Nik Angel Great question. The idea is that the "test charge" can be used to determine the direction of electric field without effecting the electric field. So therefore we would say that it does not have its own force. You can see a listing of all my videos at my website, www.stepbystepscience.com
Good point, I made this video just for you, it includes the definition of the E-Field: Uniform Electric Fields: An Explanation ruclips.net/video/1hzF2kfRzGs/видео.html
That is a great question....Somewhere the powers that be decided that the field direction would be based on the direction of the force on a positive particle. Why I am not exactly sure. It may have to do with Benjamin Franklin and his assumption that current was the flow of positive charges. We now know that it is the negative electrons that flow but the conventional current is still considered to be the flow positive particle.....You could also ask, why is up and to the right considered to be positive...that is just the convention.

So glad to be helpful to you. Thanks for the nice comment and best wishes.
For the last 9 months, you've been the best physics professor ever. Keep up with the good work.
That is awesome, and thanks for letting me know.
Thank you so much. I've been struggling to grasp this since the beginning of the semester and I have my exam in 7 days. Keep doing a good job.

@Tristan Dash try Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Finnley Kaiden yup, have been watching on Flixzone for months myself :)
@Finnley Kaiden Thank you, signed up and it seems to work :) I really appreciate it !
So that is what this freakin field is about 😂😂💔 finally something useful

By definition the field lines show the direction of the force on a positively charged particle....
Awesome. Thank you for spending the time to make this.

Thank you very much! I really needed an explanation on this matter.
Thank you, I think you are going to get me through Univ Phys 2.

if you can answer this thank you but is it the same for negative, will a negative charge push another on away
Killer Slayer Yes.

I have revolutionized physics.
How does a particle acquire its charged nature? Electrons, for instance, are 'negatively charged'. By what mechanism does this occur?
Like when you rub a balloon on your head (hair), that will move electrons from one to the other and they both become charged.
Thank you so much you helped me out so much

is electric force the same as electric field
No, the force is the force and the field is the force per coulomb of charge.

Step-by-Step Science ohh. i see. ^_^ thank u. ur videos are sooo helpful.
Because positive charge is taken as standard charge
because in order for you to be successful, you need to be positive UwU
It is negativephobic! I will fight against the injustices made on the expenses of the negative charges1
thank you for your help.
