As a content creator and not an employee it would have made more sense to address the problem as people like us are having which doesn't include an alarm in the morning to go to work. Our problem is we go to bed later and later and eventually end up sleeping during the day (because we don't have a 9 to 5 job unlike the assumption your doctor made which only serves to make a lot of us feel outsiders).
I like how everyone is trying to encourage you to spend what little free time you have exercising and sleeping more, ignoring the fact that the culprit is people's jobs comprising their entire lives. 18% of America alone works 60 hours a week and are struggling to pay bills. Mexico has a 50 hour work week average with a crime rate so high you could make a skyscraper with it. Don't even get me started on China's 9-9-6.
Thank you for making this video! This has helped me so much. I’m thinking about setting an alarm an hour before bed to get into the routine, then I can slowly get to 30 min. I hope this helps a lot of other people like me. Btw, I normally go to sleep around 23:00 and wake up around 05:40. I’m always super tired. Again, thank you for this video. Really appreciate it.
Blueberries before bed are amazing for dreams !! And they don't really affect blood sugars ... I also find myself in love with the purplish color more at night and associate purple & indigo with spirituality and the night sky. So blueberries are uniquely favorable for the night. Try it! P.s. they also don't make me feel gross if I already brushed my teeth for the night but want to still snack ... They're a relatively clean snack choice. Nuts, not so much, dates also not so much.
I think I’m the opposite of this I work 2nd shift at home, 2PM-10PM M-F and I can easily sleep, never later than 2 However I can’t sleep in at all I wake up usually 6-7 and can’t go back to bed it’s annoying
How is setting an alarm clock gonna make me want to get ready to sleep n start the day? I hear my “bedtime” alarm and hit snooze cause f u I want more mr time. And the cycle continues. Yeah use this as a dislike button.
As a person who also did this and talked to me therapist about, it’s making sure you don’t click that snooze button. There’s two sides to it. One that says go to sleep, and another that says stay awake. Think of it like an angel on one shoulder, be the devil on another. Which one are you gonna choose. I know I may just be some guy from RUclips, but I definitely know how you feel about it. Even though I still struggle with it, it gets better after a while of choosing the angel. Good luck!
I can't break the cycle. I literally need someone to intervene and basically be a babysitter and make sure I get to bed at a decent time. I just need one time to just break this cycle. Finding someone is almost impossible.
Thanks for watching! Have you suffered from Revenge Sleep? Let us know your bedtime experience in the comments below.

I just feel like lighting a candle before bedtime is a horrible idea.
Right!! Why would someone recommend that?!🤦♀️
I know that the next day will be so busy with no time to myself, so I just stay up late even though I’m extremely tired
Doc is great. Very practical ideas and no waffle. Thank you.
Thanks Lisa!! I go to bed between 2-3am..... and I couldn't figure out why
Thanks for the info!
Watching this when I have to wake up in 3 hours 😎😎
Thank you for this. Good incentive to try to sleep earlier.

Needed this thanks
Please do more on this. This is serious stuff.

Most of those wad not even about revenge bedtime procrastination. HOW DO WE STOP IT
How can we get help for this. I feel like a single intervention is needed to break the cycle.
Just need to break the cycle.
daaaang im busy coding at 3 am tho
I don't really know why but I'm forcing myself awake and punish me if I fall asleep
This is not about revenge procrastination 🙄
Do you know of another good source of information for that?
guys just close ur eyes
