When this series started and May kills a senior Jedi throwing knives. I knew this was going to be bad. A girl hunting Jedi with knives and the goal is to kill 4 of them. What? That right there I was like the people producing this thing have never watched Star Wars before and are clueless

5:27 "Where was dave filoni" probably pushing for the bad decisions in the show. The man is not a good writer and deserves as much if not more hate than anyone else working on these shows. He's basically the one person who has worked on every bad show lucasfilm has put out
Can confirm after making this video that yes he had to sign off on all the scripts so i think that’s an L on his part😂 I don’t think he’s all bad though it’s a bit unfair to say he’s attached to everything bad because he’s attached to EVERYTHING, he’s had his little fingers in the good projects too

Thank you for sharing your points. I agree with your points. These are not because of "herd mentality" but because of what has been established already... is being changed by Disney. It is as if there is an established design to devalue whatever was produced before (under George Lucas), which is an incredibly odd strategy to grow the IP and help it move forward.
I guess it aligned with what Kylo said about letting the past die and killing it if you have to.

The impulse and quick reactions we have a lot of them! Go on script, reflect on the episode, encourage people to rewatch and rethink. We don’t have that today .
A 30min episode weekly is pretty short and it’s a good place to study the film technics and themes and how they are playing out in a bigger franchise.
You can say for instance this show could be a good example of frustration for a generation of audience who are used to binge ! The mystery and weekly anticipation is allowing the so called haters to take the frustration for granted and tamper with the viewers minds.
Instead we need more videos to point out the beauty of the fairytale like world build and adding the elements of classic horror villains like a vampire to this new Sith like villain. The music and comedy relief dialogues adding levity and providing fun at the same time!
I really don’t know why you found it boring, too many things to go over from the relationship between Sol and Osha to Osha and Jackie , Qimir and Mae , the new tracker creature 😂 and mystery … how the twin archetypes are playing out and reversing! The mistakes of the Jedi order, their strict characteristics that led to their downfall all are at plain sight in this episode. So many things to find fascinating in rewatch. Pretty sure the Sith lord is gonna be a chick, probably Koril since I don't remember seeing a body. If I'm right then it's a predictable outcome and I'm gonna be irritated.
I’ve been seeing a lot of other ppl say they think it’s the dude Mae hangs out with but yeah koril is who I’m thinkin it’s gonna be too, she has more personal connection to want these Jedi dead

For someone who is starting a YT channel, avoid the herd mentality! Don’t devalue or reject a show based on the herd’s opinion!
Try to learn about aesthetics in cinema and visual storytelling not just the plot analysis.
Don’t go to show based on preconceived notions. If you want to like the show then contemplate and reflect for a day, try to see the subtext and have more thematic analysis then why this character is here cause the time is not right! That’s not a review! Film review is different from spitting opinions! And there are plenty of channels who does the later so do you want to be part of the herd or you want to stand tall ?
Try to analyze the visuals, the camera moves, the score , world build , character arcs and don’t forget it’s a show , you can’t have definite opinion until it ends! Be careful! Specially since we don’t accept our mistakes these days! We say something and nuance is dead!
Speculate responsibly! A good review is not subjective! Just because it’s not what you expected it doesn’t mean it’s disappointing. Learn to accept and review and see and reflect on what the artist presented to you. That’s a real valuable material to watch! Don’t follow the herd!

That’s some of the best feedback I’ve gotten since I’ve started making videos thank you. these videos aren’t meant to be full reviews they’re just ‘initial thoughts’ of whatever episode I’m covering, it’s honestly a pretty jumbled mess half the time but I kinda like how raw it feels to just turn the camera on and talk because I’m typically going off a script. Anytime I’m reviewing a full project (game or tv series) I try to be as comprehensive as possible and those videos always have a bit more of an informed opinion. I definitely see the value in what you’re saying though, that’s something I’ve been thinking too, even if I wanted to do an ‘initial thoughts’ type of video it still wouldn’t hurt to just take a day to better collect my thoughts. Appreciate you takin the time to write that big dawg it means a lot 🤝
The episode was Boring as hell 😒😒😒 and I don't think they should have ended the episode on a force push
Yeah I wasn’t a big fan of the ending either they should’ve just let that fight play out then roll creds, especially with how short of an episode it was
