He would've really been devastated had something like that happened & learning that the cause was BC PILLS that he knew nothing about. What girls talk to her father about sex that is a mother's job. Sometimes a parent may have to keep something's confidential if they want their children to come to them

I know this was a very different time, a time I actually grew up in, but any time a man thinks he can tell a woman anything about what she does and does not do regarding her body makes me rage. Even in this situation, where the man is her father and the girl is a teenager. The reality is, teens are having sex, they are doing it no matter what their parents tell them about abstinence and we know purity culture only serves to screw them up in the head about normal biology. The thing is, if your kid is asking for bc it means they trust you enough to talk about it and it means they want to be responsible. The way this father acted ensures she won't ever trust him with this kind of thing and she probably won't trust the step mom either

So if that CHILD took those pills & suddenly dropped dead of a heart attack or some other fatal side effect from it, what the hell was Frank supposed to think? He would've really been devastated had something like that happened & learning that the cause was BC PILLS that he knew nothing about. The fact that she didn't even take those sorts of things into consideration prior to doing something like that BEHIND HIS BACK shows her lack of maturity which is WHY her parents LABELED her as still behaving as a CHILD. I swear, y'all wanna be so grown but don't want to take the necessary steps to ACCEPT the responsibilities that comes with BEING GROWN. Don't bother replying. You're muted
@@KAMALAISHERNAME Girl first of all, why are you so mad, lol? You okay?
Secondly, I know if you took the time to write all that, then you'll be back to read the response, so welcome back boo😁
Thirdly, why did the clinic give them to her in the first place if everything you claim is true? She got them from medical professionals, not the black market, lol.
Irregardless, birth control or not, she would still be exposed to other potential risks. I think if we've learned anything from the high teen pregnancy rates, is that just because we don't give them birth control, it doesn't mean they won't have sex.

I really love Brandy in red hair ❤️
Dee was dressed up super gorgeous with lavender purple hat and a suit and a skirt
Am I gonna die Dee I'm weak lmaoooooooo that ish was hilarious
Frank needed to realize, Moesha was a grown woman at that point. She can make adult decisions. He over reacts to every thing. Dee was way more understanding.
Dee coming down those steps gave me a Michelle Obama moment. Fabulous
What girls talk to her father about sex that is a mother's job. Sometimes a parent may have to keep something's confidential if they want their children to come to them
Basically the same thing I'm going through wit my dad. We don't talk enough for him to understand me and that I'm not little anymore, eventually I will want to explore and make decisions for myself, but he doesn't trust me enough or talk to me to let me have that amount of freedom.
Ur names also Moesha bruh....,
Now I see why Frank has never been nominated for best black TV dad on social media 😳
Dee was the best character in the whole show.
Men it’s all fun and games until you have a daughter and see all the things you use too do in every guy.besides unless your absolutely single somethings are not your business when it comes too your daughters they are not your sons and go through things that are so absolutely just between women.basically it’s none of your damn business
I think Frank didn't like Q because he's scared Q is like him when he was younger. His past was probably haunting him (still doesn't excuse his wrongdoing)
Dee is perfect, very understanding, caring , open minded.
That's what I always loved about her character. I didn't think Mo should have mistreated her, but she was lashing out because she mourned for her mom. Understandable but not excused.
Plus I liked that she could speak French. 😊
Now didnt frank tell moesha like in the first season she could talk to or not talk to him about anything..... like???
Yep he's a hypocrite
I used to think Moesha was the one being unreasonable sometimes but I forgot Frank was like that too.
He too strict thats why moesha was fast tailed
Brandy still looks exactly the same today!
her and Sheryl Lee Ralph still look great. Shoot, the whole cast looks well
Dee and that hat and I love it
I know this was a very different time, a time I actually grew up in, but any time a man thinks he can tell a woman anything about what she does and does not do regarding her body makes me rage.
Birth control pills are also used to regulate a female's period.
my mom was always up front about this topic I never had to sneak with her she made sure I knew enough about these kinds of things.
Frank was still a damn hypocrite🤨
Frank is just like my uncle , & unlucky for me I’m not 18 yet so I have to continue dealing with it for the next 8 months
I feel you but at least he cares for you. A lot of people aren't so lucky.
@@Bloombaby99 Ok and? That doesn't make it ok.
How did it go ?
@@vanousisi8112 I’m at peace now that I’m out the house 🫶🏾
@@traphouseentertainmentbrattv Good for you:)
Dee was Rocking that Outfit
Why was Frank so butt hurt? First it’s not his business if Moesha is taking BC pills? It’s her sex life and she took responsibility but for him to be mad at Dee and Moesha is just plain mean. Get over it and be glad you have a responsible daughter.
Why would she talk to him about something he will never have to endure as a man dee was in the house so she felt comfortable
Franklin is reaching and tripping .....dee understood
Seeing Frank in every scene so far on RUclips really disgust me. So, good acting over all!
Frank was so extra 🙄
You can take birth control pills for a variety of different things. Hormone regulation, period regulation, PCOS. The fact that this man is mad that his daughter is being proactive about her reproductive organs and overall general health is MADDENING! ETA: Moesha is grown and in college here! Why is it his place to know about her uterus???
Right! He acting like sges 14. It's her choice to get on BC. I disliked how he was towards her always overreacting alllll the time and never listening to her. Just barking orders.
He acts like he owns her fertility or body. A whole grown adult! Throwing temper tantrums every episode
I always liked Dee a lot better than Frank . Frank always jumped to conclusions and never listened to Moesha or any of his kids .
Dee was the only emotional support of parent Moesha ever had. What’s the big deal it’s talking about responsibility for a female. Obviously Frank is so stubborn to understand she’s taking care of her self she didn’t need her dad and she didn’t need anybody. I just started birth control when I was 16 years old.
Chileeeee Frank’s character burns me UP! Every single thing he has a problem with 🙄 idk how Dee and then kids dealt with him but couldn’t be me !
Right. I'm surprised Dee stayed that long.
She's grown. Her father should be happy, that she's taking action.
Franks parenting skills irked me so much I even wrote a blog post on it (among other things on the show) 😂
www.alexandriadavis.uk/post/6-reasons-moesha-failed-to-be-at-the-forefront-of-change
The nerve for Frank 2 always accuse Moesha for having sex with boys when he had a whole secret child while he was married...
Frank too sassy and immature it’s not his body & he’s not a woman. I know it’s fiction but it grinds my gears 😂😒
It's her body she's protecting herself from pregnancy frank was ignorant
Frank was trippin🤦🏾♀️😭
Watching this shit now as an adult is so frustrating. Moesha was doing the most and Frank was doing the damn most.
Dee should’ve ran for cover.
Dee is the reason Moesha was responsible. She earned Moesha respect bc how she took care of Myles especially the episode she told Frank "He's my son, too!" Moesha face was priceless. We love Dee Mitchell
It’s the sense of entitlement for me we supposed to chase Frank FORGET FRANK😂😂😂😂
place for a few minutes ago but I didn't know if you are interested in a few days ago I was in school tomorrow so I can see the resemblance to see if
"I remember taking birth control pills" I just thought of them as smarties! I was so slick in high school. I could've given Moesha some tips on how not to get caught.
Smarties 😂
My sister got caught with birth control pill but she was 25 thu Haha it still funny seen grow women getting ground it
Frank was a control freak. No wonder Moe got outta there asap
Moesha was an adult by this point. Frank was ridiculous
“You only call me moesha when your mad at me but you want me to be pumpkin for the rest of my life”
- moesha
She can’t be a kid forever frank be getting on my never with the way he handles his past, his marriage, his parenting, etc
Wasn’t she in college at this point ? Why is he mad?
Exactly I can see if she is 15 or 16 years old or something she is 18..
She was a high school senior when she started taking the pills. He still shouldn’t have gotten angry though. Even if Moesha did have sex in high school she’s an adult now so it’s none of his business.
@@lynne709 exactly
At least moesha was using protection
Lol she looks like she's grown. It ain't none of his business at that point
