According to Sheryl Lee Ralph book she chooses Q in the end. I think both Hakeem and Mo was wrong. Yes Hakeem was wrong to kiss Niecy but I think Mo needed that as an excuse to get back with Q. Even if Hakeem never kissed Niecy, I think Mo would have ultimately ended up breaking Hakeem’s heart because it seem like all her feelings for Q slowly started rushing back once Q came back into town. And Moe was quick to get back together with Q and accept his proposal. I think maybe that’s what she wanted all along. Just my opinion

I mean by this point (the scene here) he did seem to want something serious with Moesha but he later sold her ring without considering how she would feel about it. Hakeem was kinder, and even when they were friends and afterwards he was sweet to Moesha.
