Dji mini not fpv drones so they not great.
I'm trying to squeeze everything I can out of the mini. And yes it's not a FPV drone. But it is so much fun squeezing between tree's

You need to check compatibility on the DJI website. I'm using a motion controller 2 and the Goole 2
How far can you go in a straight line before losing image in the googles

About 3 years. Head all ready mini 2, 3 but the biggest fun starts with mini 4 and the Google set

Honestly. Don't know. Don't try it yet
Little update. Mini 4 pro can do vertical video in FPV mode. In my case only on RC2 controller. I don't find this option on MC2 and Google v2

What I can tell you it’s that you don’t fly Fpv regularly, this drone can do it much better than that
