Gail sucks as a host but it's not her fault that Ron is a narcissist who will punish anyone who criticizes him; people don't even dare to correct him when he messes up terminology etc. whereas any mispronouncing by Chris will get called out by him.
@@JohnnyNatrium I think there's a few factors at play with Ron.. Ron is a guy who has consistently been the funniest guy in the room for his entire adult life. And then for the last 20 years, several successful comics and more successful colleagues in radio (ie Opie and Anthony, Jim and Sam) have touted him as a guy who never really got the recognition he deserved. When you're surrounded by people telling you you're a comedy genius all the time, I think at some point you start to believe it even if you don't realize it at the time. So when anyone pisses him off or takes him to task for something he said, he flies off the handle and freaks out.
I can't believe Earl is a 50 year old man. He cries when hes questioned about the lies he tells. He breaks equipment, faints and gets flustered under a small amount of pressure. What would happen if he ever got incarcerated, loss a loved one, became homeless? You can tell his family treated him like a toddler throughout his life. No man is this mentally weak
Earl is a legendary radio producer. How many producers are well known on the show? Who, FaFa Fooey? That show hasn't been funny since 1998. Earl is a bold liar... He hasn't changed his work ethic in over 3 decades of radio... And he gets irrationally angry. How can anyone hate on Earl?
The only father, daughter, grand-daughter, show in radio history. All kinda places are scaling down employees. I feel like they could loose a producer without things changing. Maybe even getting better?
Ron needs to stop saying we're all in the same boat because we clearly aren't. We are all in our own boats in the same storm but the storm is affecting each boat differently.
I'm getting to the point where I have to reconsider whether or not I want to listen to this show any more. There's a certain point where crazy people on the radio turn from gold in to lead. Earl is "Pulling a Fez" and it is really uncomfortable and sort of sad. Its not fun to hear someone hate who they are.
HEADS UP Idiots like Earl are why it ends up being good radio. Imagine the last 20 years of Ron and Fez, without complete fuck ups, and just people agreeing with everything they said and being "good" employees. How boring would that be?
