The M.A. Development Studies enables students to develop the advanced knowledge, analytical skills, and conceptual frameworks required to understand and navigate the complexities of economic and social development.
Students enrolled in the programme gain insights into the economic, social, ethical, and cultural contexts and constraints of development. The programme provides outstanding opportunities to put theory into practice through international field research, with a strong focus on integrating quantitative and qualitative methods.
The programme addresses the worldwide need for experts in the expanding field of development research as well as for project managers in international development cooperation.

Can anyone tell me the level of Math proficiency required for this program, the type of Math concepts covered, and the significance of Math in the program's general coursework? I am interested in this program, but Math or Statistics is not my strongest suit .

You do need to have some experience and understanding of research methods used in social sciences. Empirical research and undertaking statistical analysis is often a part of that. Hi i am Paul from, West Timor, Indonesia. i have some questions as follows:
1. For the english language proficiency, is it only accepting IELTS and TOEFL IBT /TOEFL PBT ? or it' accepts TOEFL IPT as well?
2. My educational background is "Geology" and i am a public servant. Is it possible for an engineer like me to apply Helmut-Schmidt-Programme - DAAD ?

For TOEFL ITP a mark of 543 (silver) or higher is equivalent to B2.

Based on what it says int he FAQ, it sounds like the requirement for a degree in a social science is pretty non-negotiable. You can, however, email information.ppgg@uni-passau.de to ask if your professional experience as civil servant could be recognised as equivalent to a social science degree.

I finished my graduation in English Literature, in which two electives were in sociology and environmental economics. After that I did my Master's in Governance and Development. I have work experience of 3+ years in the field of governance and development and I am working along with a Central Government project in India. I have done two internships in the respective field. Am I eligible for the programme, MA in Development Studies at Passau? Am I eligible for the programme considering my first Master's for the academic requirements?

Unfortunately, without knowing exactly which modules you took during your previous university studies, and how many ECTS-credits or equivalents you accumulated in specific subject areas, I can't answer the question.
