The swimming pool of my childhood.❤ Before it was built exactly there where you crossed the river was the original place to bath in the river. You could jump from the big rock into the river. It was opened in 1960 an closed in 2002.

Your camera work is brilliant---I love the 180 1nd 360 deg. panorama...I got very nervous when you walked out on that high dive! Yes, it must have been a wonderful pool in its day---I can't imagine how many gallons of water, and how many filtration systems!!
I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one interested in abondoned swimming pools. Probably my biggest fear lol! I’m from USA. That is one deep pool. Just curious , not like I can go there except with Google Earth, is it still there? Yes the diving board scene was the most dramatic, but can’t help but worry that one time it will crack with you going down. Not enough water the break the fall… Great video
I dont really know but I think it still exist. I also really like to explore abandoned swimming pools next to industrial and hospitals is it my most favorit loxations
There where a few events organized by people who at first wanted to rescue the Pool (impossible). Later the idea was to transform it to a place for cultural events. Everything was cleaned, weeds removed, playgrounds restored. But it was hopeless. The city had no more money for three public pools. One outdoor pool a few km away was solved. A central indoor pool in the city was modernised for public, schools and sport. Not a popular solution in the city but the only affordable one. All school pools where closed too. Today every visit of any visitor of the indoor pool gets "sponsored" by the city with over 20 Euros, each and every time.
I would jump into this pool if it were open to the public, clean and operational. To step inside the pool with no water in it makes no sense. To climb to the top of a broken down diving board as shown in this clip makes even less sense. What if the diving board cracks? Do the math. The diving board is about 10 feet off the ground. The deep end is between 13 and 15 feet deep. That's a long way down. Just standing at the edge of the deep end is very risky.
@@mikewillett5076 : I can dive into the deep end but cannot open my eyes under water thinking that a shark will be there. It's all mental but it's my mental movie. Of course, there are no sharks in a pool but the mind does play tricks sometimes.
Yes, what is the name of this pool---it is definitely for competitive swimmers and divers---is it just a pool or is the pool a part of a recreation complex
Hello, urban explores don't say the location. I'm sorry. BTW if you want to visit the pool you have to swim to it this summer I hope to visit the pool again
@@UrbexKismo : I think the pool would look so much better with people swimming and diving and having fun. For some reason, I am so afraid to open my eyes underwater at the deep end. Jaws has ruined me for life.

Anyone else want to have it restored ? It's so cool.
Great video! I would love to explore a big abandoned pool like this. That pool goes very deep.
If i had to guess how deep the diving end of that pool is. I would say at least 12 or 13 feet deep.
The really deep part that still has water in it is probably the biggest oh hell no in this whole video
Most likely from rain and it has probably evaporated several times.
I would love to see it revived and being filled with water, how long would it take to fill it?
Imagine being there at night.
I don't know why pools are scary at night abandoned wading pools are creepy as fuck
Cool video, excellent music choice!!

I always have adored swimming pools! They to me every time!
Creepy, creepy, creepy.
A very nicely designed pool. Wish we had something like this in NYC WITH WATER IN IT.
Amazing pool. I love how nature takes place back. Great job.
Does anyone know the name of this pool? When did it close down?

WoW. I've never seen a pool that big, and I've seen some big ones. 🐳
The shallow end looks like it’s already 7ft deep 😂

Woww! Where is this pool located?

@@UrbexKismo i know where it is but i dont say it because i too a urban explorer
Does anyone know why the pool is abandoned and how old is it??? Please I'm really interested
I don't know xD urban explorers can't say locations to random people sorry
Me neither I'm curious about why they abandoned it
Where is this located? Is it in the United States?
It's in germany but urban explorers don't say exactly the reaction
someone made some art with the sandbags, really nice to see.

Opened 1960, closed 2002

How do you have so many fucking questions
How deep is this pool?
I'd guess that deepest part is around 14 feet. Always been creeped out by abandoned pools, the deeper the creepier.
Good question

Kind of sad, this looks like it was a really nice place to swim at one point...
Creepy.
If it didn't have so much dirt, rocks, and maybe some transition in a bowl, that would be rather skatable
Great location
All that stone work. Jeez man that's a nice pool
Sad why was it abandoned?? Who did this exactly?
Unfortunately I have no idea...
