I had a 6'5" landlord stand in front of me, refusing to get out of my way when I was legitimately moving out after giving notice and having lived with no plumbing for 2 months. Later I found out he had locked his wife in their basement for a year! This rings a bell, eh? Those people are insane and need to be charged with mischief, stealing and harassment. Keep on with courage, hope and faith, you are almost done there.😅

Quick van hint; if you drive backwards up the hill it beomes a front wheel drive vehicle & because reverse is a low gear, generally has plenty of traction.

Don't leave the island without having a trail camera pointed at the cottage door. Get your animals safely off the island ASAP or put them in the cottage whilst you are away. Mobilize friends to help you pack, etc. Do whatever you can do to hasten your departure!

Shouldn't be difficult for the police to find the culprit - a local with knowledge of the island, willing to be out in all weathers to sabotage - fuelled by personal revenge ..or bankrolled by the xxxx? The wind is moving stuff about in my garden here in Northumberland, ie, it tipped a bucket of old string on to my lawn, then rolled the bucket away to another location. It blew over a pallet. It also shook a 5ft tall wooden/wire gate open that had been latched shut. It's done that twice, second time with a stone wedged beneath it. All of this is in an enclosed locked boundary. Similar things to what your going through. So if you're unsure, get that wildlife camera rigged up, and maybe some trip wires with noisy things or lights attached.
As if you don’t have enough on your plate, now you have to deal with vindictive harassment. I am so sorry that you have to deal with all this nasty behaviour. I hope the police will deal with this person and will do it quickly. I feel so bad for you two but please keep positive and think of happier days that are ahead for you and all your pets. The sheep will love their new holiday home.☺️ will be with you on Tuesday. 💕💕🥰👍🏻
