@@shadowhenge7118 There are plenty of players who still play PF1e even though 2e is out! Books don't go obsolete like, say, phones. Always good to have variety.
WOW! Super stoked about everything and love seeing the excitement from the Paizo team. The passion is evident and we are reaping the rewards. Thank you !
Starfinder 2 sounds like a good place to start with starfinder. What would get me really excited would be a beginner box akin to PF2, or a remake of some beloved adventure path from 1st edition. Oh and Pawns, lots of pawns!
Old guy here, maybe in Pathfinder 2e there could be an adventure about a crashed spaceship embedded inside a mountain, which automatically disgorges cargo boxes sometimes containing monsters, causing trouble in the area, a party of adventurers could be sent to investigate... 😇
Love this company and all the new content. :) The remaster is going to awesome! Wholly crap Starfinder 2 being fully compatible!!!!!! Cannot wait for swords and lasers to cross!
My name is Eric "Tiny Murder Clown" Mona. Is there a post about how to convert p1e adventure paths to p2e on the forums i have missed? Are you planning to release guidelines on how to do it or convert all the old adventure paths to p2e? Some of them seem quite nifty and id like to unleash them on my players :D
I know this request is sort of counter intuitive, but is there any chance we could get a more bog standard / generic eastern european fantasy themed AP in the future? I do like the variety we have, but every AP so far has had one or two baked in very specific niche or theme that is heavily recommended to lean into. Which are very hit and miss. So sometimes i cannot play because my players do not wish to lean into what they consider a gimmick. I think i could grab more of my newer players interest with a more generic/general or loose theme. Im not insinuating we should stop the niche adventures, far from it. Just wish there were more options for APs akin to age of ashes. With dragons and castles. Etc. I think the way id describe my feeling is finding an amazing ice cream shop that sells a bunch of varieties of ice cream, what we may consider to be new and exciting flavours like ube, jackfruit, corn and cheese. Awesome! But when i want vanilla, strawberry or chocolate, I dont feel like I have that option. I hope the metaphor makes sense.
Lets pray and hope Starfinder stays starfinder, its own game and hope they have the designing capabilities to prevent it becoming Pathfinder in Space. So far I like the the Pathfinder Design of the Soldier at Page 4 of the Playtest and the upgrades for the weapons. Thats about it. - I don't like the change to the Keyscore from DEX or STR to CON. - I like the gradual increase of saves over the levels in SF1 compared to trained, expert, master and Legendary in the Playtest version SF2 - I like the 4 skills + INT skills over Intimidation and 3 skills+ INT - I like the modularity of Gear boost, Fighting styles and feats To me, sadly, it feels too much more like Pathfinder in Space than SF2. This been said. I need to see all classes and their advancement up til level 20 and I look forward to the next Pathfinder in Space playtest xd
By most RPG standards, maybe, I think they’re just calling it that to make clear it’s not as big of a leap as Pathfinder 1 to 2, it’s more akin to D&D 3 to 3.5
Starfinder 2E!!!!! Can't wait. Thank you Pazio!
I'm so happy! Starfinder 2 let's gooooo!
I just finished buying all the hardcovers... fml.

More 2e adventures like Abomination Vaults please!!! I love the deep character building in a single, well-fleshed-out location!
I'm about to start abomination vaults with my group. It seems pretty great!
Thanks for you input!
Seconded. I would love a Starfinder megadungeon.
@@jasonsoares326 I'm running it now and it is absolutely fantastic. Just take your time and really let the town and dungeon flesh itself out.

OH MY GOD STARFINDER

The pawns aren't going to change, they are eternal!
They will for sure put out a Beginner Box, it's such a successful tutorial it wouldn't make sense to not include it
I've been looking for an excuse to play a Starfinder adventure. Found my moment!
Thanks for your feedback!
Glad to be a part of GenCon this year with you!🎉🎉🎉
Did Thurston just say, “Xon-Shelyn”????
Oh holy crap, this is not your Daddy’s Starfinder
So stoked for everything just so much to get amped for!
THURSTON. SIR. YOU BLEW ME AWAY WITH THAT ANNOUNCEMENT.
Definitely excited for Starfinder 2e

Maybe! ;)
We could call it "Expedition to the Obstacle Peaks" 😂
Is that Thurston Hillman, one of the many great people behind Narrative Declaration and Rotgrind!!!
Sooo...does this mean we'll get the answer to what happened to golarion and where absalom station came from finally?
Probably not, but we may learn more about Golarion's moon!
HUGE Foundry News!!!!! Thank you!!!
Yes!
I think I'm lost. Not sure where to go for Starfinder 2nd Edition Field Test. HELP!!!
Hype, Hype, Hype, Hype, Hype, Hype (Video Dropping in 1 minute!)
Really excited for SF2e!!!

Hooray!!!!
I am looking forward to Starfinder 2nd edition.
I know everybody likes dungeons, but can we have some adventures with more meaningful social encounters and situations?

There is a free pdf guide somewhere, I know I've looked at it before.

really hoping the dead deity adventure is 1-20!
Sales are a great way to tell us you want long Adventure Paths!
@PaizoInc I know I know! I always spread the word but I'm only one person D:
Ah, Navasi...
They need to remove weapon scaling if they want to get the base that thinks starfinder feels too much like a video game
Lets pray and hope Starfinder stays starfinder, its own game and hope they have the designing capabilities to prevent it becoming Pathfinder in Space.

Orc license let’s go!😁
More short modules please. Stuff like malevolence will print money I promise! Especially if you get it on foundry.
OGL is dead, long live ORC!❤
Come back to inner sea
You can call a dog a "horse", still makes it a dog. There are enough changes that makes the "remaster" a new edition.
By most RPG standards, maybe, I think they’re just calling it that to make clear it’s not as big of a leap as Pathfinder 1 to 2, it’s more akin to D&D 3 to 3.5
@@CC-gy7el It's not even close to the jump from 3 to 3.5...
I agree that the Remaster is a new edition - regardless of whether Paizo admit it or not.
