A friend of mine, how teaches mnemotechniques, also recommends to embed everything into a story. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work for me. I need more brain capacity for making up and remembering the story than to ... well ... memorize the vocabulary . What helps me memorizing new words is to often read them in different context. Or even better, reading and listening at the same time.
Yes, this is one of the ways :-) I am happy your found your way! If the reading/listening to the words in dfferent context helps you to learn new vocabulary, its perfect! Keep up :-)
Its a good method but if you want to learn a reasonable amount of words per day, say 25 it can extend the study time quite a bit if you have to make up such stories for all the words 😅
Firstly, I don't think it's possible to learn 25 new words a day, for a normal person. 😀👍 Secondly, this method in my opinion should not be used for all the words. Just the hard ones. But what needs to be said is that at the beginning is harder but becomes easier after some time. You just get used to making up stories and even if one story takes you 3 minutes, it's still way less than learning the classic way and repeating every 3 days and week and month... Eliška :)
That's a brilliant way of learning new words.. :) Thanks for sharing it. ^^ Btw your Arabic is amazing, keep it up :)
Mam radost! 👍
You made me laugh (Oh, husband, I need a Taj Mahal! 😂😂😂). Very useful advices, thanks!
