- A quick look at the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride of 2024 supporting men's mental health and prostate cancer. A summary of the start from Triumph Staffordshire in Longton near Stoke, riding to Leek and finishing at Congleton. Wonderful day, wonderful weather, and a worthy cause.
I was fortunate enough to join approximately 750 fellow Distinguished Gentlemen [and ladies] on the ride out from Guilford. A delightful scenic route around the Surrey Hills in glorious weather. I would highly recommend participating, to anyone considering joining in next time the opportunity presents. Many thanks to the organisers and volunteer Marshalls who coordinate these events.
Great day today, thoroughly enjoyed it. Good to meet you and Andy too Richard 😁
Great to see you Scott. We shall get together in the very near future 👍
Richard, looks I a great day out. Will no doubt catch up in the future when I get my bike sorted and go for a ride out, Regards Mike👍🙂
That sounds a great idea Mike. I will pay for the coffee 👍
@@bankruptpensioner I will get the cakes. 👍
Great to meet you yesterday Richard, your Bonnie was looking sweet 👌🏼 , I had a nice little cameo at the end too when you pulled up directly behind me 😆 (Chrome Interceptor)
Hi Dale, yes, great to meet you. RE Interceptors are just great, and the right price 👍
I was there ❤❤
❤
Good to meet you today Richard, what a wonderful day it was too.
Great atmosphere and super weather!
Who says it always rains in Stoke?
Ride safe Mate👍
My God, we were so lucky with the weather. It could not have been better 😆. Great to meet you and we should get together in the very near future ????
@@bankruptpensioner that sounds a bit like a plan, Stuart? (I think that was his name) (Big baldybear) Said the same.
Let's sort a ride out, out.
Give it a couple of weeks and I'll get in touch if you're up for it.
Where are you in Stoke?, I'm in Blythe Bridge
@@shottostravels Over at Eccleshall so not too far. I can bring over the BSA Gold Star and you can have a pay 😆. Scott, that's his name who lives at Congleton. So not far again. And yes, we should arrange a day for a meet. See you in a couple of weeks 👍
@@bankruptpensioner that would be good, as you say Scott says he will come for a bimble too so let's wait for a bit of sun then we'll see if we can get together.👍
@@shottostravels perfect 👍
Personally I'm not a group riding biker, following a line of other bikes is not my idea of heaven, but some do and that's OK. Live and let live.
Hi Ian, neither am I. I find it hard work riding alongside others that one does not know. At the most, two other riders for me, as i will be doing in a couple of weeks when I (we) go to Austria.
