I agree. He is very polished. And based on the studio I was surprised to see only 700+ subs on this channel. I expect this channel to grow 📈.

Thank you , from Africa , for this great interview. I see it's a tear old. I am just researching substack because their values seem to align with my own. I see they now have an app..... which hasn't had good reviews. I am wondering whether you'd consider bringing Linda back to discuss it ?????

Great interview. Very impressed with both Aaron and Linda. I have been migrating my blog from wordpress to substack for two months now and have been so impressed and happy I made the switch.

Substack is pretty nice platform but they need to offer more design features. Does not have to be Wordpress, but more design and layout option so people can truly brand a site.

Excellent. Loved the analogy. Showed the real strength of this platform, to wit, the versatility and the ability of the writer to "be me." Niche writing can be great...but, is that all you are? I love to write westerns and have done several books, but I dont wanna write westerns all my life. I've a lot of interests and I believe, based on what I'm hearing from Linda, that this platform can allow a writer to have a flexibility and thus, not dependent on an algorithm.

I just started a substack but I am using it for short form writing. Mostly I am just posting clips of prizes I've won and updates on my investing journey. I do not use Twitter or Instagram or Facebook. Hopefully, I won't get ban.

This video has NOTHING to do with how to succeed on Substack.
As a new Substack user, this video was pretty "meh" for me. It's a lot of theory about Substack's moral superiority which is questionable sometimes, as they allow a lot of White Power stuff on their platform. I agree that censorship is problem, but so is enabling violence against others. Sure, putting a leaf on a product is not really helping the environment. But putting a swastika on a web page presents a danger to certain people. Innocent people. And their innocent children.
Also, as she herself acknowledges, not many people are investors. This got boring. I followed the Gamestop/RobinHood adventure with great interest. But it has very little to do with Substack.
She never really talks about how to succeed on Substack, anyway, not by the time I got so bored that I quit listening (30:47). If this lady is a writer and prides herself on writing and shaping writing to be riveting and persuading, she needs to work on her skills. That long 30 minutes of moral superiority and discussion of an investment war that will soon be forgotten just draaaaaags.
Kudos to the interviewer. He's very kind.
But this video has NOTHING to do with how to succeed on Substack

Well said. The platform does absolutely nothing in terms of helping the writers. It's meant for people who have already established themselves. Don't waste your time on this platform.
